Excellent value, great performance- a really good anti mould solution
I got sick of the mould growing in the top corners or walls and ceilings in rooms with exterior walls. We ventilate the house, run and dehumidifier and still some rooms it comes through. The bleach based spray treatments are aren’t ideal and anti mould paint is expensive. Is this solution? Yes it is. You’re not restricted to the colour of anti mould paint because you add this to the paint of your choice - meaning you can make your favourite colour an anti mould solution. Since we’ve used this, the areas painted have remained mould free. This is a good quality solution that’s easy to use. It’s so much better value for money than premixed paints too!

This anti-mould additive works really well (for me, that is)
This additive is excellent. I just mix the required amount (as stated on the bottle) into a new tin of emulsion, stir it in (really stir it well is my advice), then stir it regularly when painting. It works! I added it to a Crown emulsion and painted a North facing wall two years ago, with no mould returning. I did make sure I treated the mould on the wall first,( as that is essential because painting over it with normal paint won't get rid of it). Then two coats of the emulsion with the anti-mould additive and jobs a good un.

"Effective for Tackling Dampness – Time Will Tell!"
First Impressions: I bought the Dryzone Anti-Mould Additive (100ml) for my damp shed, and it seems like a solid product so far. The application process was simple, and the instructions were clear. I mixed it with the paint and applied it to the affected areas. The mould protection seems promising, but as with any anti-mould solution, time will tell how long-lasting it is. Design and Build Quality: The bottle is small but efficient, and the product mixes easily with paint. The anti-mould additive itself is a liquid, and it’s designed to work with regular paints to stop mould growth at the source. The formula seems strong enough to handle minor damp problems without being harsh. Ease of Use: The Dryzone Anti-Mould Additive was incredibly easy to use. I mixed it into my shed paint, and it went on smoothly. No mess, and no complicated steps. It’s great for anyone looking to add an extra layer of protection against damp and mould without a complicated application process. Performance: As of now, the additive seems to be working well, but I’m still waiting to see how effective it is long-term. The shed feels drier, and there’s no noticeable mould growth yet. I’ll be checking back in the coming months to see if it holds up through the winter months. Value for Money: For the price, this 100ml bottle goes a long way, especially if you’re mixing it into a larger volume of paint. It’s a good value considering it provides extra protection against mould without the need for special treatments or sprays. Pros: ✔ Easy to mix with regular paint ✔ Helps protect against damp and mould ✔ Simple application with no mess ✔ Affordable for the coverage it provides ✔ Can be used for multiple projects Cons: ✖ Time will tell if it’s truly effective long-term ✖ Might need to reapply if the damp problem is severe Final Thoughts: The Dryzone Anti-Mould Additive seems like a great solution for keeping your shed or home damp-free. It’s easy to use, affordable, and offers extra protection against mould. I’m hopeful it’ll continue to perform well, and I’ll be checking for results in the coming months! Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5 stars) – Great for tackling dampness with time to prove its effectiveness!

Long lasting - still working 4 years later
Great product. I used it 4 years ago on a cold wall behind wardrobes that become easily moldy during winter. It's not returned since using this additive. Would recommend.

Definitely need if you struggle with a damp area.
I'm a big fan of Dryzone, we have used various products from wall rods, damp proof paints etc... When i came across this it was a no brainer to use for my conservatory paint. We recently moved into a 100yr old home that hasn't been looked after very well and the 25yr+ conservatory had a few black mould areas. We treated the mould and added this to the paint, it mixed really easily, the measure down the side made it easier to know how much you needed. So far so good no more black mould in sight. Will be buying again for our bathroom paint once renovated.
