A big help, looks good
Keeps my guitars and basses securely on the wall and out of dangers way and the guitars look good on the wall.

You Can Pay More...but WHY?
These guitar hangers are simple, well made and inexpensive. And they look good on the "guitar wall" in my studio.

Good product for the cost
The guitar hangers were exactly what I wanted. They were well packaged and I got them in one day. The quality seems good. They were easy to hang. I did not use the anchors and screws provided. Instead, I used toggle bolts. That was purely my call based on past experiences with other things in the house.

Holes are not centered; thin padding; guitars might slip off without included grommets
These guitar hangers work perfectly fine. The heaviest guitar I own is a Les Paul, which is a little over 9lbs (4kg), and the hangers hold it without issue. There is no shifting, squeaking, cracking, or other wood/metal settling/stressing sounds from the hangers. The heaviest guitar I can think of at this moment is a Dean ML at 15lbs (6.8kg), and I'm sure it'd hold one of those too.The biggest concern I have with these hangers is that my Les Paul and SG have a tendency to walk themselves to the edge of the hangers. Ergo, I installed the included grommets onto one of my hangers to keep these from sliding off. My Dean Contour acoustic and Ibanez Gio bass don't suffer from this problem, so I'm assuming it has something to do with the shape of the neck and/or headstock. The grommets are rather large and make placing and removing the guitars a bit cumbersome, so I only placed them on this one guitar hanger. (The Les Paul and SG, I play the most, so one is hung while the other sits on a floor stand; hence why only one guitar hanger has the grommets for this purpose). The grommets are also good for holding smaller instruments like my ukulele, so my ukulele hanger also has the grommets.I do have worries with the padding. It seems like a somewhat thinner rubber. I'm not sure how long this material will last.A final issue is with installation. The holes in the base of the hangers are not centered. I installed these by tracing a center line over my studs, marking an exact distance from the ceiling, and then using the hanger bases themselves as a template to mark the holes. When I saw the marks I made weren't centered, I assumed I was at fault. So I drilled the holes on center, only to find my hanger was slightly askew. I did the exact same thing for the next hanger before I realized why my marks were off-center. Afterward I trusted the marks I made and the final two hangers are perfectly level. You can see one of the tilted hangers in the second image of this review. You can't tell they're somewhat crooked when there's an instrument on them, so it's not a huge controversy in any way for me. Just something to look out for.Overall, these guitar hangers are inexpensive, but they will hold your guitar. If you have multiple guitars like I do, this is a great deal. If you don't have at least four guitars, go with a brand with more padding; as that is currently my main problem with these.

Great hangers, worth more
They keep the guitars hung nicely. Its such a simple device there isn't really much to say. I used a stud finder to make sure I screwed these in to studs. I don't think they will ever fall off. If you love your guitar, find studs and don't use sheetrock anchors. They don't look or feel cheap and are very well made.

Third Set Bought
Built a special music room/studio for my guitars and amps and also my wife's drums. With 11 guitars, putting them on stands was not practical. These were the perfect solution for me. Only complaint is that the supplied plastic anchors and screws were not reliable. My fix was to but longer screws and hit a stud. Where that wasn't possible, I used butterfly anchors so it gripped behind the sheetrock. Otherwise they look great, provide good padding around the neck/head of the guitar, give the right distance from the wall, and are sturdy.
