Our bathtub drain stopper closes but we have a small leak where half the water drains out of the tub if you take a long bath so I figured I'd try this out. I tested it twice and it kept all the water in the tub and sealed my drain very well...not a drop drained. It also stayed in place when filling the tub. I'm happy with my purchase.

This was amazing. The plug for my bathtub has not been working in a few months, and I'd researched some options and came across this universal plug. I thought for sure it would just be another product that wouldn't work... BUT it did! It worked amazingly and hasn't let me down since I purchased it. All you have to do is press down the suction cup and press around the edges a few times, and presto! Even just as the description says, it's "portable" and "universal". I have yet to try it in any of my sinks, but it was under the purchase for my bathtub, and so far, it really hasn't let me down. The price is great for it's longlasting and ACTUALLY universal abilities. Don't overlook this product.

I rarely review, and bybrarely I mean never. As a businessman myself, understanding the importance of positive feedback, I’ll say this product is top notch. The seal is beyond secured, and your bath will stay full. Buy this (and no, I don’t get money out of them, though I should for my review)

I got this because my parents tub drain plug was not began enough. Also, because I am notorious for finding a spider in the tub!! So I use this (with its handy dandy suction) to cover the drain and reduce the risk of finding more spiders. Only downfall is there is not much suction when there is no water on the tub (which, i realize doesn't matter for most). When in the tub, I have put it on and it will definitely stay in place and protect from any water loss.Overall a good product. And if your parents tub has spiders appear in the summer like mine, it might save you. lol

I use this stopper in my kids bathtub because the plug no longer works 100%. I was a little skeptical when I got it but I tried it anyway and it didn't allow ANY water to drain, even with 2 rambunctious toddlers bathing in the tub!! The second time I gave them a bath, I completely forgot to close the plug and still NO WATER DRAINED OUT!! Works great if you have a flat drain with holes. I don't know if it would work if your plug was in the drain though.

I love this tub stopper! It couldn't be easier to use. Best thing is that when I take a shower I can plug up the drain with this item, allowing water in the tub to rise so that while I'm showering, my feet are getting a good soaking! Word of caution though, the first time I got into the shower (without the antislp stickers, whene tub was already half full because I had put the stopper down, my feet flew out from under me and I fell in the tub..(not one of my favorite moments) I'm alive and ok, but I do have a few bruises... This is what I bought some tub treads to help make the tub less slippery.... And of course, I move much slower when getting in the tub!

My original bathtub stopper is not working. and I just want to have a proper HOT bath in the winter time without my hot water running away! I tried this one, it's working perfectly! The size is very flexible; I use it in the kitchen sink when I need to wash fruit; use it my bathtub when a bubble bath is needed. This lightweight stopper is easy to carry, clean; and does the job done.

Ordered this for my parents to take on holiday as they always say the bath plug does a terrible job at the hotel they stay at.It's extremely lightweight and small to pack in a case, although I'd recommend keeping it between two items so you don't bend it out of shape. According to them, it works very well and is easy to apply and remove, yet doesn't let any water out until they personally take it off, even after 30 minutes of use! Will happily buy another one for them should anything happen to this one.

Honestly when i saw this product i thought that it will not work because my bath tap has really strong water pressure and so i guessed that this product it will be not suction efficient, but i was wrong. It was really easy to use and it worked very well.

I don't understand why sheerness is included as criteria. The thing works on different tub plugs even when it's not level and even when covering a gaping hole. It dries fast, doesn't smell, even looks cute. I don't understand its claim to be recyclable, but I like it anyhow.

Am using this in a garage sink. It works! This is the first stopper I found on Amazon that actually works. I purchased two traditional stoppers earlier -- one black plastic, one white rubber. Neither fit properly and both leaked badly. This one works!
