I just received this camera and tried it outside. I haven't tried under water which is the reason why i bought it. I add more to this review once i try it under water.The camera is easy to use, very intuitive. The directions in the instructions are easy to follow. It took me less than 5 minutes to figure out how to use it. The only time i actually read the directions was when i wanted to see the picture on the camera(playback). It was easy to find.Quality is pretty decent when taking a picture outside. It is not that awesome for inside pictures with low light, even with the flash on, but since I don't intend to take pictures inside I really don't care. I just hope that taking pictures under water won't be an issue with the quality.

Purchased the camera for a trip to Miami. The camera performed flawlessly. I dove with it for 4 days to depths of 10ft. The camera works really well for a quick photo and the battery lasted well . Overall this is a great package for the money.

However if you're using it for videos, especially vlogging I think you d be satisfied. I know a lot of people are aspiring to do YouTube but can't afford a quality camera where $500 is supposed to be on the "cheap" side according to youtubers. Not msny people have that lind of money laying around to squander.

My wife is satisfiled with it. She is a snorkel nut and she takes thousands of pictures annually, and this one keeps on going, unaffected by salt water (we do rinse it, of course). If it get sand on it, we wash it off in the ocean. It has a lot of different settings for scenes, such as underwater, landscape, and many more, all easy to access. The settings are easily learned if you play with it a bit.The underwater pictures are excellent quality, colors right. These amaze many people, that you don't need an expensive camera to take great underwater snapshots. The on-land pictures are great, which you'd expect. You do want to have lens cleaner on your trip, and that's all the maintenance ours has needed.

Good item,This is the perfect started camera for a low price. It has a microphone built in and a speaker to hear the videos you record. It’s extremly simple to navigate as well. My 6 year old daughter came home from school and went straight to work making a video 😂

Try as I might, I could not open the battery compartment and I must not be the only one since they included a special additional flyer showing you how to open the battery compartment. I can read really well so I don't think that was it. So instead of pulling tools out to force it open, I returned it and bought a different brand

This is a great camera. It's ability to shoot in dark situations with minimal noise is amazing. The camera is very light and portable yet packs a punch for the price.The image quality is superb.

It does not feel like a quality product. I could not get the battery compartment open. Had several people help me to try to pry it open. We broke nails and said a lot of unladylike words. Finally giving up... I suppose an hour (just for myself) to put in the effort to show the battery cover who’s boss did not end well for me... I figured that if it’s this difficult when I didn’t need it, I may end up throwing the camera when I DID need it. Camera 1 - Me 0..
