Works FANTASTICALLY WELL
Grate and sturdy I have it all set up to catch an opossum. I've already caught a cat and it was set up for 40 min! 3 hrs after taking the cat to the animal control I caught the opossum and have let it go far from my house!

Trap is ok but needs some stiffening
This trap works well but the wire is pretty small. I had to brace the bottom at the front and back to keep cats from pushing it down when they tried to escape. I also laid a piece of cardboard over the release plate that hung over the back side of the plate about 4". One cat stepped past the plate and it never tripped. After putting the.cardboard down, it trips every time. I wouldn't use this for raccoons or very large cats, but for the average size cat it works well.

Just what I needed!
Our neighborhood has a handful of stray cats, but 3 that seem to make it to our house every couple of nights and use our landscape mulch as a litter box, our doormats as a scratch pad and our planters as beds. This live trap was a breeze to set up. I’ve heard catching stray cats could be hard. I basically covered up the trigger pad on the inside with leaves to give it a more natural look and “BOOM”, caught 3 strays in 4 nights and relocated them to a more rural area. Very pleased with this purchase! Highly recommend!

Yes, easy to set up. Setting it is a pain. The lock in the back is really cheap and flimsy. The animal was able to bend the locking bar and escape.

Excellent!
Had a very smart feral cat that was coming around for a few years. Numerous litters were also feral. I was finally able to catch it and turn her over to animal control who vaccinated her and spayed her and found her a great home in the country.

My favorite live trap, plenty of room inside for large raccoons and large cats!

Keeps the garden safe
I have to rebuild it after a raccoon is caught they tore up the activation plate and rod, but they did not get out. The hinge for the plate to cage could be more robust.

Spring to trap poorly designed and does not release to close. Not recommended
Price was good BUT it's a useless product as construction is cheap and flawed. Difficult assembly. Was meant to catch feral cats but defective design. Not recommendedI would give it a ZERO
