Get Your Brake Lights Working
Worked perfect for my R6 that had Vortex rearsets on it. I purchased this because the rear brake light would not work and it solved all problems. Very easy to install as well.

It works
My old switch was to short for my new rearset. This fit perfect and works. Only took about 10 minutes to put it on and bleed my brakes.

Stopped working after one month.
I am giving this one star because of the difficulty it's poor quality caused me. I live in Liberia, West Africa, so I had to have this pressure switch shipped to a friend, who then packed it in his bags when he came to visit me. The installation went well and it initially worked well. Unfortunately, after about a month, it suddenly stopped working (probably 10-12 hours of use). Since it was the rainy season, I can only assume that the weatherproofing failed and water made its way inside the switch. I also noticed a small amount of brake fluid leaking around the wires, so that may have caused the failure too. (the oil leaks and electrical failures seems to be a common issue)Every day in the capital city, multiple motorcyclists are killed in traffic accidents, so working brake lights are critically important. The streets are also crawling with corrupt police officers and criminals posing as police officers. If they see someone riding with a broken tail light, they will attempt to extort a bribe or threaten to impound the bike (where it is at risk of being stripped or stolen). Because of that, I couldn't ride my Yamaha for several months. I hope the replacement will provide better service.

pressurized rear brake light switch
Works fine. Color of the wires on the switch is gonna match the wires you wanna join so it's dummy proof & easy to install. Only issue is the switch wires are Kind of short so switch wiring is kind of stretched after install. Be sure to bleed rear brakes after install is complete.

Works great. I purchased this particular one because it has a rubber boot that covers where the wires go into the switch. On a dirt bike, this switch sits pretty close to the rider's boot and others have been damaged. Hopefully this one holds up. Purchased for a Husqvarna TXC 450 with Brembo brakes.

Works, but not for long
Edited review: Feb 2015.This product worked fine until it got some dirt and water up by the boot and wires. I tried to keep it clean, but the debris worked its way into the electrical switch portion. This caused a very rapid corrosion within the switch housing. Now, while this did not prevent this from operating as a banjo bolt, it became useless as a switch and had to be replaced just over three months after ownership.Original review: November 2014.Works perfectly! Some people may complain about the pressure required to trigger the brake light, but as long as you take the time to properly bleed the brakes, you should have no issues with the brake light coming on from using this banjo bolt. Also, check the depth on the original banjo bolt and use the washers to get the same (or close to) depth as the original.

Ordered this with my Vortex Rear Sets. Installed today and rode all day with additional feedback from friends behind me. Works perfectly, every time. No extra brake needed to activate when riding. Just make sure you bleed the brake properly and you will have no issues.
