Lexel Clear Sealant 5 Ounce (6 Pack)

I used lexel on my entire 45ft camper. I love that I don't have to remove previous lexel to touch up. It's very sticky so have some merial spirits on hand. With decals on camper the clear is invisible. I will never use silicone again on camper or home.

This stuff is second to none. I love the clear tubes because the stuff stays clear as glass, and never dulls. When caulk sealing a sink, toilet or anythings else, it's easy to use and sticks. I use it on my classic car restoration projects as well.

Easy to work with, dries clear, and it's a great value for the money.

This stuff is amazing!, as a sealant, none better, as an adhesive it's damn tuff as well. AMAZING for Gluing Sinks/Toilets to vanity or floor. It will be waterproof. Stays Flexible, Does NOT shrink, UV seems to have no effect, as it is Clear. Paintable. I have used this to Seal/adhere a windshield in a boat, 7 yrs, still perfect. I just came here to buy another 6 pack. As a plumber, I use this to seal PVC/Black Iron where it passes thru the home, when we drill holes, never have leaks, looks great also. I only use Lexel 100% of the time now. Never let me down yet ! It even is Handy for RC Hobby toys/boats or wet applications. Truly miracle stuff!

This is absolutely great stuff IF you use it right away. I had to seal the back window of my 1999 pickup truck & it worked marvelously---years later still working great---but I tried to use the rest of the 3/4 full TUBE a year or two later, & it wouldn't come OUT, even tho it's STILL liquid. I even STEPPED on the tube with all my 240 lbs.---all I can get is a drop here & there. What I did get out still worked fantastically, but what a shame that SO much is unavailable to use. MAKE A LONG LIST of things you need caulked & use UP this great stuff as fast as you can ALL AT ONCE. Otherwise, like SO many tubes of super glue, etc., what you do Not use will go to waste. I suppose I could CUT Open the sides, but the whole appeal is the pinpoint accuracy of squeezing a thin line exactly where it's required. FIVE STARS for working great---one star for trying to Squeeze the stuff out a year or two later ( unless you cut the sides open & use UP the rest thataways ).

I didn’t buy through Amazon but at Lowes. This stuff is junk. I applied the Lexel clear sealant for our RV’s shower area which I made sure was dry prior to the application. The instructions lie when it tells you “it adheres to even wet areas”! Laughable. 2 days after the application, I have an entire thin Lexel “snake” laying in the shower. Buy the reputable brand of sealant and not Lexel.

Bought one clear tube at Ace Hardware to weatherproof electrical connections in an outdoor light. Worked great. About a year later I was using it to seal some contacts in an power cord. Suddenly the stuff was all over my hands. The back end of the tube had burst and the contents went everywhere. Clean up was a mess. I tried 99% alcohol, acetone. Those didn't work. I finally had to use gasoline to get the sticky mess off my hands. Manufacturer needs to reinforce the seems on the back end of the tube.
