For the money I think this little thing is great. It's pretty loud for a Kalimba, the metal is very shiny and smooth and I love the holes on the bottom which can give you a vibrato effect. Comes with a snazzy carrying case and little hammer, but mine was in tune out of the box. Really fun to noodle around with. I'd like to compare it to one of the $150 ones but my guess is they don't sound that different.

I'm old, grandma old. I bought this because I was curious and it was marketed to people who know nothing about music. I bought 2 books with it and I love it! I find it relaxing and fun. I even found a few mistakes in the book and corrected the notes. And I really appreciate the hard shell case that came with it.

The steel keys are very shiny and polished. The sounds resonate longer than expected (when plucked, the longest key resonates about 7 seconds). I plan to bring it to the next family get-gether and imagine that everybody wants to try it.The wook planks that make the box are about 4mm thick, which is slightly thinner than I expected. The ornamental carvings on the woodbox are precise and nice-looking.

I bought this Kalimba a couple of weeks ago for my 13 years old musical lover. I and my son are very happy to have it. It was delivered on second day, with a carefully packed package. It sounds beautifully and with the instruction came along with it, you can easily master it. The accessories include everything you need to maintain its quality sounds and very easy to use. You can also learn more melody from YouTube. My son loves it and plays it everyday. I strongly recommend it as a great gift for any age, especially for young musical lovers.

I bought this item recently and find this item interesting. It can be used as a gift to kids to start their interest in sound and music. It is ideal in size and you can pack it easily during travel. It is amazing to see the design. Of course I played it around for a while to try out the gadget. It is better than a toy in the sense that it can be an "educational" item.

Bought this as a little relaxing time after work, late evenings, etc.Grandkids play it more that I do!

I bought this thumb piano for my friend's nine-year-old boy's birthday . Both my friend and his boy really love it. It is easy to play with high musical performance. It is also easy to learn for beginners. Strongly recommend
