HaywardNavigator V-Flex Liner/Concrete Cleaner, White and Blue

I've tried a few of these pool cleaners over the years. This design is simple, it is pretty straight forward to set up, and it moves around the pool cleaning all the debris on the floor efficiently. We've had the electric ones, that are far too expensive for the requirement, we've had Barracudas and Sharks and they never do the job needed, either stay still or get stuck. This one is a simple design and travels easily around the pool. It operates in a lined pool, 32 x 16 feet. Doesn't go up the walls, but gets the floors very clean and clear. Hopefully it will last several seasons. The best previous one we had lasted about six or seven seasons. Very happy so far.

Easy set up - hose length suitable for large pool - vac lock fist perfectly - liner pool changeover easy - price slightly steep for what in essence is using my pool pump motor and a bit of plastic but if it cleans the pool in the next 2 hours then well worth it - currently after max 10 min set up, its in the pool and moving around, one assumes sucking stuff up!

Used it once and seems to be happy flapping away sucking up dirt. Obviously never gonna be as good as doing it myself but good for doing the mid week clean. I still need to do my stairs but that’s fine with me. Watch you tube tutorial before buying for more info.

Set the vacuum up as instructions required. turned on the pump and for 5 glorious minutes the vacuum moved around the pool before sitting motionless on the bottom.After retrieving the vacuum I could feel that it was still sucking nice and strong, so I tried again. After setting it all up again and making sure there was no air in the pipes etc I watched as it sat lifeless on the bottom of the pool, my dreams of never having to use the vacuum pole ever again vanishing abruptly and painfully.Save yourself this pain and avoid.

Can't express how happy I am with my new pool cleaner!Cleans a 32x16 pool with ease.It's small and light and the sectional pipes are a great idea in case one ever splits.Had it one week and have never had such a clear pool even after a day of swimming no cloudy water!Never usually review products but this has been a life changer!Runs of my wall outlet from a 1.5inch thread fitting supplied. No electrical parts it's the water flow through it that moves it about. Doesn't climb walls which I don't see a need to. Came with feet for my painted pool but also feet for tiled pools.After my first use after 2 hours it slowed down, I just backwashed filters as it had picked up so much sediment and the pressure was up again and off it went. Now use it every other day to get the bits off the bottom while having a morning coffee... No more brushing!I LOVE IT!!!

The cleaner won’t stay in the shallow end. I’ve tried different suctions, different hose lengths, different settings for the back flap. It just finds its way to the deep end and never returns. Had three previous Hayward cleaners, all the same basic design, so I am familiar with how they operate. Disappointing.

Excellent cleaner, plug in and forget. The only issue with the order was myhermes losing the first delivery, Thankyou DHL!

Great little vacuum, runs around the bottom of our 10m x 5m pool quicker than our last machine and does a good job picking up dust and debris. I like the interchangeable ‘feet’ enabling it to be used in tiled or liner pools.

Nachdem das überzeugendste System, nämlich der Dolphin Hybrid eingestellt wurde und mein Gerät nach 2 Jahren kaputt war, habe ich einige andere probiert.Die Roboter mit Filterkartuschen sind ein Witz, der ganze feine Bodensatz wird aufgewirbelt und das Wasser trüb. Ist ja auch verständlich, was soll so eine kleine Kartusche oder gar nur ein Filtersack im Vergleich zu 120 kg Filtersand schon ausrichten!Die Roboter mit runden halbautomatischen Bürsten verhängen sich im Eck und müssen dauernd händisch herausgeholt werden, (ebenso wie der runde Hayward Käfer, den ich früher besaß)Der Navigator schafft zwar die Poolwände nicht, aber ich weiß ohnehin nicht, was an den Wänden gereinigt werden soll. Er fährt auch nicht systematisch durch den Pool sondern nach dem Zufallsprinzip, aber nach 2-3 Stunden ist der Pool zu 99% sauber und vor allem ist das Wasser klar, weil ja die Sandfilteranlage den feinen Bodensatz herausfiltert. Nur in den Ecken sind noch ein paar ganz wenige Ablagerungen, die verwirble ich beim Baden und gut ist's.Nachdem mein alter Hayward Käfer nach 6 Jahren noch immer anstandslos funktioniert hat, bis ich ihn verkauft habe, hoffe ich, dass der Navigator mindestens eben so lang durchhält.Meines Erachtens ist der Navigator derzeit der einzige sinnvolle Poolroboter (siehe oben), auch die Preisgestaltung ist sehr fair, denn was die anderen Firmen für ihre Geräte verlangen, die aus einem Gehäuse mit Propeller, Filtersack oder Kartusche sowie 4 Rädern oder 2 Walzen bestehen, ist reiner Wucher!
