Works fine
They are not for regular sunglasses, I have the rinconcitos. I just looped them again and they work just fine. I like it cause its just the wire. Don’t know why it says for women

Fit as expected, light enough its weighing on the neck, kinda wish length was adjustable.
This item fits as designed and works well with Costa glasses. A bit of. tight fit to get it through the eyelet but once in it fit fine. The pull apart connection works well and would pull apart if yanked potentially preventing damage or injury. However I wish there was a way to shorten the chord. It doesn't always lay evenly and sometimes gets hung on the shoulder awkwardly Overall recommend the product.

Plastic strap, bulky attachment
Bought these as they were recommended for the Costa Spearo sunglasses I recently purchased. The strap is nice but is all plastic. Seems like it may have a tendency to stretch after some use and the clasp may easily wear out. Additionally, the attachment loops are a bit bulky and irritating around the ears for me personally. Strap is a bit short for me but is fine depending on your likes and comfort. Maybe will be of no importance to some folks. Gave them to my daughter, she loves them.

Costa Loop Retainer for Costa sunglasses like the Whitetip with a cutout slot in the earpieces.
Read the reviews on just about every Costa’s sunglasses “leash”, and I knew I didn’t want snap swivels making constant noise in my ears, catching my hair, snagging my hat, and banging me in the head, so I picked this Costa loop retainer to try. This came the day after I ordered it, and I don’t see any issues that are described with the other retainers. This one is really low profile, isn’t stiff and hitting me on the neck or back, or snagging on anything or making a racket in my ears. This retainer is ONLY for the Costa’s with the slot cut in the earpiece at the very back end of it. You shove the loop part of this retainer through that slot in the earpiece, and loop the other end of the retainer through that loop sticking out from the earpiece and snug it up. The retainer has a little plastic snap in the middle, and you pull this snap apart to separate the two built in loops on the retainer to install in on the Costa “temple holes” or cut out slots in the very end of the earpieces on the glasses. Glad I bought this one for the Costa Whitetip glasses. There’s not a lot to it, and that’s what I wanted.

Poorly Made - Broken when I received
Broke when I received the item. I'm not sure if this was the original packaging from Costa or a return that was reshipped by the reseller (see 1st pic). Amazon said it was from the Costa Store, but seller ended up being some sporting good store from IL?Either way they would have broke eventually.Cheap plastic cord "shrink wrapped" with some other cheap plastic so you could see where this wouldn't last a month. (See 2nd pic)Poor product from a great sunglass company. Kinda of embarrassed for Costa to put this on the market with their name on it.Will be returning ASAP.

Nice addition to save your Costas
I will admit that I was flummoxed at first when I tried to hook this item up to my new Diegos. Well, um, there's only two diagrams on the wrapper, so pull out your reading glasses and peep those diagrams.First, you don't need to pull the rubber clamp securing the loop through the hole at the end of the temple bow (or arm...whatever it's called), you just need to get the tip of the flexible loop through the hole. Seriously, look at the diagram. It's not intuitive, but makes sense after you realize the cord separates at the plastic or rubber connector in the back. And it takes more effort than you'd think to separate that connector...that's a good thing, else your spiffy Costas could be lost over the side.Very flexible material. No idea what the other people are talking about when they mention the extra long loop that lets your shades dangle low. The loop is shorter than the Costa woven keeper that I have on my Mags. This item is totally usable in stock format.

Tough fit
These were billed as the perfect fit for my Costa Jose sunglasses...not even close. Had to squeeze them into the arms to the point of breaking.. Not as advertised. BUT, they do work and I like them.
