Didn't say was made in China. Works as described. Get this.
Good product that keeps your mouth closed all night, put the X shape tape over the center of your lips. You can drink water thru a straw at the edges of your mouth at night and the X stays put. Retrains your body to nose breathe instead of mouth breathing. Mouth breathing encourages sore throat, dry mouth, cavities, nose breathing has MANY other benefits including body responses and structural beneficial changes. Very important for children to learn to NOSE breathe for mouth development as well. I was disappointed that it was hard to discover that these are made in China. I now use surgical tape from the drugstore for the same thing, but this is a good way to start and see if this is for you. I have slept more hours at a stretch since I don't wake up because my mouth is no longer so dry at night...therefore, total body health has been enhanced just because of better sleep. Read a 2020 book by James Nestor "Breath" if I'm allowed to say this book here. Keeping your mouth shut at night is virtually no cost way to improve your overall health, once you retrain your body. You will have to initially buy tape to tape your mouth shut , so be prepared to spend a little to get GREAT lasting health benefits in return. YES to this item.

These are best but not enough adhesion, other kinds too much
I have settled on these as best, with thin strips of Chin Up Strips (U shaped ones), placed horizontally across part of X on my chin. I have to slightly vary where I put the Chin Up strip as their adhesive is very strong and irritates my skin. Most nights this holds.

Awesome product - but, Made In China. Why?
This product is BY FAR a much better option than using the 3M tape where you have to clean up the sticky residue left behind. That was so annoying. I really appreciate the ease of use and this product is very comfortable. It really has improved my snoring as well as forcing the nasal breathing, which is so good for you. I certainly recommend it - good value for the price. The ONLY reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because it was made in China. That really bugs me for a product that I believe could be sustainably manufactured here in the states. I would not trust that China is producing a safe, non-toxic product that you have to wear on your skin. (I hope I am wrong). Ultimately - ENJOY. It’s a good product.

Great product - not for me
This product works as advertised. Easy to use, comfortable. I'm a mouth breather and I wanted something to replace the chin strap that I have been wearing with my CPAP. The pressure on my machine is set quite high and keeping my mouth closed is very important. These strips were comfortable and did not come off during the night. However, based on the pressure of my machine, air was able to escape from my mouth, which was the equivalent of mouth-breathing. So these are not for me. I wish they were! I would love to ditch the chin strap. I gave 4 stars because they did not work for me and I now have 29 x-shaped pieces of tape. ;-)

Great for the cooler months
I had originally used Somnifix and then went looking for a less expensive alternative. I found these, but the summer had already started and the adhesive didn't hold up to my sweat like the Somnifix did. Now that the summer is over, I went back to using these. They hold up quite well and are pretty comfortable to wear. I always use a nasal dilator (i.e., Mute) with mouth strips and my sleep lab scores are consistently in the low single digits. The only other drawback to these are if you are a side-sleeper. I found I drooled like baby with these since the sides of your mouth are not sealed. I would recommend these.

Not best least-cost solution!
Used a pack of these. Have a beard and moustache. X design does not hold or seal well with facial hair...end up mouth-breathing around the strip. Found I could get 2 uses/strip. Then tried a 3" piece of 3M Nexcare Sensitive Skin Tape in the 1 in x 144 in roll. It effectively held my mouth together along the entire lip line and could use it 3X+, making it a 4¢ per use compared to 10¢ for the Wesgen strips.

Fantastic product for dry mouth
I don't usually write reviews but I have really been impressed by this product. I have extreme drymouth due to medications that I'm on. I stick 2 xylimelts in my mouth and then apply the tape over my mouth. It stays on all night. Plus you can't even feel it. Sometimes I have to take it off to speak to my teenager and I always take it off between 5:30 and 6:00 to take my medicine. I usually have another hour to sleep after that. Then I apply it back on and it sticks just as well. I was very doubtful when I ordered it because so many reviewers complained that it didn't stick. I apply a fairly thick organic lotion to my face every night and it still sticks. One thing I've noticed is that I have to kind of purse my lips a little when I put it on initially. It is not uncomfortable but as you fall asleep your mouth is going to try to open. If the tape is too loose it's just going to break the seal and open. I am so happy to have found this product. It has helped my sleep a lot because I no longer wake up in the middle of the night parched with my tongue sticking to the roof of my mouth. Plus it will save me money because I've spent a fortune on dental work the last 2 years since I've had to take these meds. Apparently, saliva protects your teeth from decay.

Inexpensive and easy to use solution that supports nasal breathing
A few years back, I read a book called "The Oxygen Advantage" which convinced me of the merits of breathing in and out through the nose only (clear nasal passages, less congestion, vaso and bronchial dilation, and increased red blood cell count, among other things). So, I began practicing nasal breathing during the day and in my exercise. It was difficult at first to get enough oxygen, but over time my body adapted and my health and fitness improved. My breathing became a little easier, my cardiovascular fitness improved, my blood pressure lowered, and I had more energy. Yet, I knew that these benefits would increase and perhaps my sleep would improve, too, if I was able to nasal breathe while sleeping. This prompted me to buy strips to seal my lips while sleeping. After trying a few different brands, I landed on these Wesgen strips. They work well and are much less expensive than other options.
