Standard graduation gift
When is feel compelled to give a graduation gift for high school, this is what I give. Male or female. I haven't received a thank you note yet so I don't know if she's gotten that far. That's also where I tucked the money so it's her loss....

Learn manners & be better!
I love Emily Post! She knows what to do in just about every situation. I gave these books to my family this Christmas, because our world is becoming less and less civilized. I do not want my family out there embarressing themselves or not knowing what is proper or not. No this is not an outdated book. This book is critical to keeping civilized society civilized. Opening doors for ladies is critical. Saying please and thank you is mandatory. Not farting at the table or in front of mixed company is essential. Be the lady or gentleman you are, not the gutter trash that the world expects you to be and set yourself apart from the rest of the world. Be better!

Good
Good book. Though if there are 5 illustrations is too much.

Outdated
This isn’t going to help with many modern situations. Much of the advice is outdated.

Like taking a step back in time!
I love this book. It it like taking a step back in time. It was originally released in 1922. If you are looking for a modern-day etiquette book, this book will not suit you, but if you would be entertained to know how to properly invite ladies over for tea and what types of tea cakes to serve, or how to handle the staff of the house, or how to be a great house guest back in the olden times, you will love this book. SO interesting! Love it.

Pocket slice of manners
I have got to say this Pocket slice of Proper Etiquette is a delightful read...Its tiny enough and light enough to take anywhere. If you didn't know how place settings go or proper eating techniques with varying company at the dinner table..This book is for you!!!I have the huge Etiquette book written by I believe Peggy Post one of the descendants of Emily..So I can say hands down if you're looking for a bit of class in an easily read book this one is for you!
