Vaultskin VICTORIA Crossbody iPhone Case with Leather Wallet

I bought two of these in October 2018. In general I’m very happy and use one or the other every day. The leather seems of good quality and it’s very handy being able to keep a card and a couple of notes or receipts in the pockets. However, there are two/three issues that let it down. The biggest one as far as I’m concerned is that it very very frequently switches my iPhone 8 to Silent and/or triggers the sleep/shut down button on the right hand side. I presume this to be because the phone moves slightly within the leather case and friction does the rest. It’s not at all rare for me to look at the screen and find that I’m only one step away from accidentally calling the emergency services. I’ve missed innumerable calls because the phone has been on silent without my realising and obviously finding the thing when it’s on silent is a trying exercise. The other issue is that occasionally one of the two clips that connect the case to the strap has come undone. I don’t know exactly how this happens but I think it’s usually when I have the strap over my shoulder but under a jacket. The strap has been held in place by the jacket and so I’ve never lost or dropped the thing as a result, but I don’t think this should happen.

Although I was very excited to receive this product it literally fell apart within two weeks of its purchase. I paid a considerably high price for an item that doesn’t live to its expectations. avoid!

I would assume for the price you pay for this case it would be in mint condition. Nope. The clip was broken, leather pulling a at from case and front metal piece discoloured.

Extremely disappointed in the fact that I ordered this product twice and the first time it was the wrong size for my phone. The second was damaged as you could see in the photos the buckle was broken. The the front metal piece was discoloured and it looked used. Especially for the price that you were paying for this particular product. It should be in mint condition.

I have owned a few bandolier cases and thought I would try this case and I’m very satisfied with it. Protection all around and nice and thick. The leather it’s great quality and beautiful engraving on the side. I will not go back to bandolier.

I was Excited to get this. When it arrived it looked great…good quality. I tried to put my phone in and it was too small. Very disappointed.
