It works, but at a price DO NOT USE WITH NITROCELLULOSE LACQUER FINISH
When I bought this I wasn't sure what to think of it. I knew I wanted something that could hold a lot of instruments and this was by far the cheapest option. Like many have said before me, this is the product of cheap chinese labor, and the quality of the stand reflects that. My stand came with most of the screws and bolts rolling freely in the package and was missing a few of the bolts. Thankfully I had enough to assemble the product without having to make a run to the hardware store (though I may end up doing that still). Even still after assembling the thing the legs weren't even and there was a solid inch between one of the feet and the floor at all times. Thankfully, the feet have these little rubber stoppers on them so I just took the one off of the foot that wasn't touching the ground and folded up a piece of paper to fill the gap. It's still not totally even, but enough so that it won't violently jerk the stand when weight is shifted. The stand itself isn't terrible, it's clearly cheap chinese metal working, but it feels sturdy, and seems to have adequate foam padding protecting anywhere the instrument would sit on it. However I am a bit concerned about the foam they used. Before I bought this product, I looked all over to see if it had any disclaimer (or complaints) about issues with a nitrocellulose finish. I didn't find any so I hoped that it would be ok. Upon arrival I compared the foam material of this stand with the foam of another stand I have and they looked and felt the same to me. That stand has a little note hanging off of it that says:ATTENTION:Not recommended for guitars with nitrocellulose lacquer finish. This material of foam might cause unexpected chemical reaction that may deteriorate the finish.Needless to say I am not going to test this out with my $1000 archtop, but the fact that this stand doesn't provide such a disclaimer is certainly worrisome to me, because I am 95% sure that the foam on it is the same foam on the other stand that came with the disclaimer, and if I hadn't known better, I may have unknowingly marred my guitar.Anyways, I gave this thing 3 stars because for the price it provides a decent bang for your buck. Don't expect to fit 7 guitars on this thing unless they are all electric guitars or your instrument's will probably bump each other when you take them in and out. But if you need something for 4 or 5 instrument's this should do the trick rather well. Just so long as those instrument's are on the cheaper side (most cheap instrument's don't have a nitrocellulose finish so the foam would not be an issue). But if you are buying this stand and intend to put a nice guitar on it, you best make sure your guitar doesn't have a nitrocellulose finish first.

The review this product deserves.
The media could not be loaded. Hey guys, so I saw a lot of mixed reviews on this product when I was looking for a guitar rack, and nobody bothered to post videos or pictures showing how the rack ACTUALLY is... I took the chance and bought it and figured I'd upload a video of my findings. I set it up in 10 minutes, saddled up all my babies, and shot this video right away. I'm sure with some more tinkering and testing, I can set it up even better, but here it is out of the box. While I agree that this SHOULD be advertised more as an electric guitar/bass rack, as the video shows, it does work for acoustics... it's just a little tight. If you have a $3,000 Martin, you might not want to put it on this rack... but chances are, if you have 7 really expensive guitars, you aren't looking to save a couple bucks on a rack.Let's face it, folks: We all clicked this rack for one reason... it's $40 and it fits 7 guitars. You get what you pay for. Yes, bulky acoustics will touch each other as you take them off (though if you use two hands like I couldn't in the video, you can save them from lightly tapping each other), but is that really worth a 1 star review? I don't think so. This product is as advertised, very easy to put together (all you need is a nut driver or a wrench to hold the nuts as you tighten them with the provided allen key), and it's CHEAP.This product is for us folks with small rooms and lots of instruments... before I bought this, I could barely walk around in my room. Now all (well, most... there's a few stragglers in other areas) my instruments are neatly kept in one area, and it looks awesome on display. I considered giving it a 4 star instead of a 5 star because the instructions are a bit odd... but if you've ever put together something from Ikea or you've ever picked up a set of tools before, you can put this together with no problems. Give it a try, folks.

Does the job
I like to look at my guitars but my wife doesn't, so to minimize the space they took up, I ordered this. Assembly was pretty easy despite the somewhat inadequate instructions. When I had it together I was pretty satisfied with it. It's fairly sturdy if used as a stationary rack. It could have been made even sturdier if they included a cross brace for the back , it could easily attach towards the bottom where it would be out of sight and not interfere with the functionality. The only issue I had was one of the arms was bent and broke off when I tried to straighten it. They are attached to the top arm with a spot weld and the weld broke loose. Luckily I had some nuts in the garage that have an extended sleeve designed to go thru tubing that were just the right length and diameter thread for the screw -in arm I drilled a hole thru the back of the top arm ,wide enough for the sleeve to fit into the tubing, and screwed the arm back in. It's now much sturdier than the other arms. If I have any issues with the other arms I will do the same repair. I easily fit two acoustics and two electrics in the stand. If you position the acoustics on the end with the bodies facing out, you will pickup a little more space. I could easily fit two more electrics, three, if I was very careful placing or removing the guitars. The stand is actually wide enough where you could fit even more guitars if you could adjust the arms. You still have to be careful placing or removing a guitar and I wouldn't recommend loading it up with Gibson's and Martin's. I still have my three most expensive/ favorite/most used guitars on individual stands. I still have room in he rack, but I want to have easier access and admire my favorites. That and I still have a couple empty slots for the future without using more floor space. For me it serves it's purpose well. Construction could be better but is certainly acceptable for the price.

Good for house or studio
I got it as it's on sale at CAD $35. It's good enough if you're not planning to move it too much. As pointed by others, it wobbles a little bit. It's stable enough if you just want it to leave it for storing guitars and guitar cases. It will be better to get the pricier ones if you're planning to bring it to gigs. As for my question regarding removable pegs, yes it's removable. It's quite easy to remove as you just need a pair of pliers. Just remove the cushion cover from the peg and twist it with the pliers. It is just screwed to the bar. It can fit 3 acoustic guitar cases and 1 electric guitar case. I removed 3 pegs to do this. Overall, this is worth it as I'm just placing it in my studio for storing my guitars with their cases.

Good buy!
Does what it's suppose to. I would recommend carefully placing guitars on it and angleing them so it doesnt fall. But good buy for price.
