Does what it says on the tin !
This does the job and is what it says on the tin! Easy to set up, well packaged can be a little wobbly due to the bar that slots into the bottom piece to clamp on things. The clamp itself is very good and works well ! However the length of the thread when you fully open the clamp Can get very long and in the way a bit.All in all I don’t think this is bad for the money at all !

Works fine but you'll need to pop a spring off
Works perfectly well to mount webcams or smartphones being used as cameras. However out of the box the upper arm springs are WAAAAAY too strong and create too much tension and as a result the arms will refuse to stay in position, opening out fully by themselves no matter how tightly to lock the joints (be careful when you unpack it!). But don't panic, this is easily resolved by simply removing one of the upper arm springs - they just pop off - which will half the tension on the upper arm and now the upper arm will stay in whatever position you put it (and you have a spare spring). Also the actual grip supplied I found a little too aggressive and was concerned that it was squishing my iPhone, but the attachment is a standard connector and so the grip is easily replaced with an alternative, like a claw grip, if you prefer.A great and cheap solution for anyone needing to mount webcams, smartphones or similar.

Handy overhead arm
I use mine for filming down-facing crafting and journaling videos and it seems to be working just fine - does the job! I got a gooseneck one before and it was too flimsy and kept on swinging, the video did not come out stable at all, very shaky! However, this holder is nice. Easy to clamp to the desk, insert the phone and - go!So far, I am very pleased with my purchase.

The design is very limiting
The design of this is very limiting. It's very difficult to get an overhead shot within a tight space as the flexibility of the stand is very minimal.

Springs unsafe
Erm the springs are a little dangerous, had one shoot off and hit the wall next to me while I was trying to set it up. It's a bit hard to adjust on lowering it closer to the tabletop.

Better than expected
I was a little nervous due to some bad reviews, but this is actually a pretty sturdy stand and I haven't had any problems with it. It's really easy to reposition however you want, even midway through streaming, as the motion is very smooth and doesn't make a lot of noise. I'm very happy with it!

Strong, durable, and great value
Very strong, large and durable. I use mine to film time-lapse videos of drawing and it doesn’t even shake or fall during 3 hours of filming. Perfect.

won't fit on my table the clamp is too small
Disappointed, the clamp is so narrow it won't fit on a normal table top, complete waste of money, what on earth were they thinking?
