Simple and effective
Works as intended. Just because Shimano created I-Spec EV shifters that lack compatibility with I-spec II Brake Levers Wolf tooth came along and saved the day. This adapter simply connects your New Shifter with I-spec EV to the older Brakes that has the I-spec II mount point. What more can I say..? It worksYou still have full modularity of the brakes and shifter. The Shifter with EV can still move up and down inside and left in right to dial in your personal preference.

This mount took a little research to find, but once I discovered the different types on the Wolf Tooth Components website, I was able to see the differences. Over to Amazon (because of their amazing delivery time) I went and found the part. This ISEV-ISII mount worked perfectly with a new XT M8100 shifter and the BL-501 lever that came on the bike.

Perfect
Used to mount 12 speed Shimano shifter to M9000 brake lever. Put controls in the perfect position and eliminates use of bar clamp on shifter.
