UPDATED Review 6/15/21...The quality of this product has gone downhill significantly since Amazon have stuck their hooks in it. It went from a Bold Rich coffee thick with oils that was a joy to drink black. To a sour weak Starbucks imitation. Its only drinkable with cream and honey or whatever is your poison. I stuck with the brand hoping they would turn it around but this will be my final order................................................... My review is not for the faint hearted or the milkshake Starbucks drinker. No offense to those just, my wife is one, I'm just setting the tone.I use 6oz of water and drink it black. It's just that, black. Rich, Bold with a slightly burnt flavor to the roast that leaves the same after taste as burnt caramel. This coffee has lots of flavor and to me it's also smooth but I have a palette for black coffee. On top of that the price is good.I have to say, I was very sceptical when I bought the first box. The name, the logo, the price.... but I was pleasantly surprised and now on my 4th box.If you are looking for a rich, bold, strong coffee. Something unique that has flavor I suggest giving it a try.Lastly, Dont hesitate to start strong. 6oz is perfect to me. At 8oz I felt it lost something. At 10oz... well I drink nothing at 10oz but this stuff will still hold up as a "cup of coffee." I dont do 4oz because I go through too many pods that way! LOL.Enjoy!

From the minute I put the coffee pud in my office brewer and all my work buddies start smelling the aroma of this coffee is just amazing. Everyone has to say "Wow That Coffee Smells Really Good". I am a big coffee fan and let me tell you that this is so far the =best coffee ever, I have tried the Starbucks coffee pods, dunking donuts coffee pods, Keurig branded coffee pods and some others. None of those come close to the Roastmaster level. I will definitely keep buying this coffee.

It has been hit or miss trying to find great dark roast coffee without spending a ton of cash. My husband is not a complainer so when I ask, how's that coffee?, he almost always says fine. This morning he came down, I had one of these pods set and ready to go. He pushed the button, waited, came out on the screen porch with cup in hand and sat down to begin his day. Three sips in and he commented on what really great coffee. He had no idea I had ordered this one. He assumed I had broken the bank because it is so good. I have now ordered several more boxes. Do not pass this one up.

I could smell this roasted coffee before I opened the box. It smelt great and tastes great also. Nice deep flavor. Will definitely purchase again. Seriously good coffee!

I did get one cup that was tasty, but the pod is made differently than I have ever seen before and the water backs up in the pod and isn't expelled into the cup. The pods are supposed to be recyclable but I followed the directions on the box and couldn't get the top to peal off. The whole concept needs to be redesigned. That actual coffee is good, but if it won't comet through the machine, what good is it?Won't buy again. Sadly.

First and foremost, I like strong, black coffee that isn't bitter. So I don't drink most espresso blends unless that's the only dark roast available. The first thing you notice about this pod is the outstanding aroma as it brews -- seriously best coffee aroma ever! Flavor is also excellent for dark, a well balanced cocoa-mocha with light caramel and honey notes and a hint of roasted pecan nuttiness. After reading the reviews, I initially brewed it as an 8 ounce cup. I have to say I was a little disappointed in the overall boldness; I found this slightly less bold than my standby "Major Dickenson's Blend" from Peet's. That said, it is an excellent option for me, though I now generally brew it to 6 ounces and still brew my Dickies to 8. Oh, and a note on the pod that others have mentioned: the plastic is tough and almost rubbery flexible, so it does not play nice for the initial bottom pierce. To overcome, I simply push it all the way down by hand before closing the lid, so far no issues.

This coffee brings clearer meaning to the descriptions rich, full bodied, aromatic. It's really good. I can see why it might be "limited batch". Really good.

WOW, this coffee gives meaning to the word COFFEE . I have tried sooooo many “Dark Roasts “ that have ended up being a 1 time purchase because they fell short of My expectations .I usually drink several cups of coffee everyday, but with this Coffee I drink only 2 cups a day. It is so satisfying that I don’t feel the need to chase the comfort , soothing, and alertness I get with this Brand vs others. The flavor is full bodied, aromatic, smooth (no bad after taste ) and comforting. I will not share this Coffee with anyone , selfish perhaps, I don’t want anyone ordering it since it is limited I don’t want them to run out 🤣😂 . Best kept secret shhh. My only regret is I didn’t purchase a dozen boxes when it was $8.99 . I will splurge when I run out, I can not live without it. Long time coming. Thanks Amazon for offering a GREAT PRODUCT.
