Keeps water hot for hours. The design is great. The spout makes it easy to pour and the container holds lots of liquid. I broke my leg and with this pot I don't have to keep going to the kitchen for a refill. I could see using this in office.

I looked a long time before deciding this was the pitcher for me. I was looking for ease of use - I have thermoses, but they all required the use of two hands to open the cap and pour into a cup. I wanted a one-hander. This Thermal Carafe is everything I was looking for and at a QUARTER of the price of similar products! I brew coffee in a coffee pot in a separate room from my work environment. I then pour the coffee to the Thermal Carafe and close the lid. Throughout the day, I use the Thermal Carafe with one-hand, opening the pour spout with a single thumb-press, pour about five ounces into my cup and close the thermal Carafe with one hand and replace it onto a side table to my work environment. Easy. Cleaning couldn't be more simple - each day I rinse/clean it out, then once a week I use a cleaning tablet designed for stainless steel containers.Super simple - just what I was looking for - and you can't argue with the price!I have Prime - it was delivered in perfect condition in two days.

The purpose of this product is to keep the liquid inside it hot. Major fail. Somehow, they did not isolate the shiny metal that comprises the handle and mouth from the inside. Thus, when you pour hot liquid into the container, the brushed metal body is cool to the touch (i.e. it is properly isolated), but the handle and mouth are at a higher temperature. This means your liquid is losing heat through this path, thereby defeating the purpose of the product. Major disappointment.

Bought to use in my spa to have warm water available in each room. Works perfectly! Water stayed perfect temp for over 8 hours! I don't know exactly how long it keeps the temp because I am always dumping it out at the end of the day and it's still perfectly warm!

I LOVE everything about my new coffee dispenser, from the pale blue color to pour control to temperature retention ability. I work at Cafe Java full time and use it every day I work. I get so many compliments on it from customers!

Not hot

Keeps our first pot of French-pressed coffee hot while the second is brewing, and well into the day. Very attractive, easy to handle, air-insulated so the pot's exterior doesn't feel hot. We love this carafe!
