Mach | Towable Tube for Boating - 1, 2, and 3 Rider Sizes

This water toy is extremely fun for both young kids and adults. It is stable enough for young kids to ride with an adult. We used it for one week on vacation and it never threw us off while riding behind a pontoon boat, stayed right in boat's wake. It was great fun though and a smooth ride over the bumps created by other boats. The bounces are cushioned by the inflatable pad under your rump. Nice handles and back rest, a big difference from "tubing". Very comfortable for 2 adults or 1 adult and 1 child and it is nice to be able to talk with your fellow rider. If you are looking for a wild ride, would need a faster boat and possibly a longer tow rope. The price on Amazon is much better than many places that I looked, the only other place that had it for same price was Walmart.com. We also bought the Airhead hot dog for 3 and this toy was much preferred over the hotdog for comfort and stability. The hot dog is a bit more maneuverable, but also threw people off and can be hard to sit with your knees in the correct position for any length of time. The hot dog would not fit 3 adults well, maybe 3 kids or 2 adults.

We bought this for a family vacation, and used it for ONE week, with Grandkids all under age 10. THIS year we used it for ONE hour, same Grandkids, now under 11, and the cover SHREDDED, pulled away from the inner tube, and left kids floating. J.U.N.K.

Buying a tube was never on my radat but wife talked me into it. We towed some of my niece's kids around and they had a blast. My boat did not like it one bit as it is underpowered and is in need of a tuneup. (19' Blue Wave CC with 90hp Yamaha 2 stroke) Was able to pull the older kids at 8-10 mph and the littler kids 16-20. Like I said they all had a blast. Seems to be well made and durable. I have never owned a towable before so I have no point of reference. It has a nylon cover covering the tube. So far so good...

This is a great product for safety. We couldn't in any event get the "tube" out of the wake, so this is perfect for younger children and anyone who wants a "princess" ride. It wasn't popular with the daredevils and those seeking a joy ride. But we enjoyed it and will have lots of fun with it.

This piece gets top marks from me in the 3 categories Amazon asked about for this review. It IS easy to inflate, DOES seem durable and sturdy. But I’m sorry to say that the basic design of this towable is extremely poor. It may not be clear in the picture, but this towable is comprised of 3 separate air chambers contained within a nylon mesh (I think) outer skin. The massive problem with this design is something that I should have picked up on without wasting money on this piece. Anyway, 3 separate air chambers means that water immediately fills the substantial voids between the chambers, causing the towable to plow through the water rather than skim across the surface. It doesn’t take a brain surgeon to see that such plowing through the water is gonna put undo strain on everything from the tube’s outer skin and its connection points, to the ski rope and its connection points, and even the boat itself. Now obviously the boat will withstand the strain, the ski rope/ski tow may not, and over the long term I’m sure the poor tube’s outer skin and connection point will be pulled to shreds. There is a final insult. After learning that the tube will never work well due to its defective design, you decide to give up and pull it from the water. Good luck with that. The outer skin now contains untold gallons of water at 8.34lb/gallon. I’m hopeful that I’ll soon hear from Airhead offering up ways to make this trainwreck right. It’s much more likely that all I’ll hear will be crickets

The kids absolutely love this tube. Whether with each other, riding solo or with mom. One drawback is that on a couple occasions it caught a wave wrong and the nose dipped, causing a massive flood and drag on the boat. Also, it'd be really cool if it could be steered but would need some kind of fin or channeling to provide directional control.

It was a great purchase. However, I returned it because I wasn’t sure our boat rental would provide one. When we picked up the boat there was a good quality one so we returned this. Anyway, the one here was cool and good quality! The Amazon return policy is great!

I cannot even begin to tell you how much we love this tube! We use it for 3 year olds, teens, and adults. It is a lot less painful on the tummy and less jarring than the style where you lay face down flat. It has an inflatable tube pad under the seat of each rider to keep you from feeling roughed up by all the waves. It is stable and sturdy enough even for the youngest riders and so easy to hold onto. It has a quick inflate/deflate valve that quickly screws in and out which makes it super quick and easy to fill and deflate, which means less hassle and more time with the family and friends! Plus the quick connect attachment up front makes it so easy to connect it to the ropes, and the ropes never come lose off the connection. The cloth cover has a zipper and velcro that can easily be opened to remove the white plastic tube and seat cushions for easy cleaning and washing. It really helps to separate them so you can air dry thoroughly or treat for mildew if needed. We've used it for 1 full season and haven't had any signs of leaks or tears. It is built to last, and I expect it to last a while!
