Perfect fit
I had to drop the oil pan on my silverado 5.3 cause of an oil leak so i thought i would replace this sensor too, I have 147000 miles on the engine and while it was out, i replaced it, no issues, and no leaks

works good
No luck on the first one but second one works you dont realy need to pull the drain plug just take the cross member down the oil will just drain to bottom of plug make sure your oil drain pan is clean so you can add the oil that comes out if you have a v8 2003 newer your gona need the socket also there clock so the plug goes up along with the opening on the side if your ck eng oil light wont go off then disconect your - battery terminal then + get some jumper cables and conect the - @ + together for 30min battery disconected! then reconect the + then the - terminal get a towel to cover the terminals on your diconected battery this work for me my engine check oil light wouldnt go off even after I replace the Sensor and disconected the battery once this light goes on its hard to get it to go off!

you will save hunred$
oem acdelco cheap (dealer wanted eighty? something$) you will need a special 27mm 1/2" drive socket 1/2 drive ratchet a long extention (these items add nearly $100 alone over) + an auger/scraper to scrape old oil pan gasket a new oem acdelco (do not go fail pro) use oem on everything or one wrong part makes everything go wrong these systems are all as a co-dependant as a 70's pop song. watch the tutorials this is a value $ money however you will save hundred$ more diy

It worked
Was getting a add engine oil/oil low and kept flashing every time I would drive I checked the oil and it was fine, note you will have to change the oil if you replace this part. turns out my old one was cracked and barley hanging on, but it worked for my 2007 gmc sierra 2500hd and I stopped getting the message in the dash, 10/10 would recommend since it is a Ac/delco
