I was very disappointed when I received this pillow the outer covering was nice but the inner covering that contained the rice hulls was a thin plastic material and so every time you would move the outer pillow cover it sounded like straw inside I immediately sent it back I'm disappointed that they didn't use a cloth material to contain the rice whole that is what I have now and it has lasted many years so again the cover was nice but the inside was very flimsy found another company that makes rice whole pillows that uses unbleached cotton muslin material for the outer pillow and the inner Sac that holds the rice h u l l s. For the same price.

I received this pillow today and have not slept on it yet. But I did try it out and could tell instantly it was way too firm for me. Luckily, it is well designed in that the cover and the inside pillow have zippers that open which allowed me to remove the buckwheat hulls to my comfort level. I am mostly a side sleeper that needs super soft smushy pillows and my arm under my head. And I have neck stiffness and headache issues from my sleeping habits. I tried this pillow out after removing about 3 cups of hulls and it cradled my head just right when laying on my side, that I didn't feel the need to tuck my arm under the pillow. I am pretty confident this is going to help my sleeping habits and allow me to wake up with less neck and shoulder stiffness!

I bought this pillow after waking up yet again with a crick in my neck that lasted for days. Like other posters noted, there are a lot of buckwheat hulls in there. Plus the pillowcase was too “Korean grandma” for my taste. What I did was take a standard pillowcase I already had, made two half size pillowcases from it, and swapped one for the flowery case. When the pillow is removed, it spreads substantially but still needs a lot of the hulls removed to make it comfortable for my neck. My neck felt supported and better from the first night.

So glad I ordered this pillow. I've been searching for the right pillow for the past two years...gone through a few. This one is the one...all natural (no allergy issues), most support and comfort for my neck and all cotton cover, my preference...love it. May order another.

The first buckwheat pillow that I have found that offers a firm level of support and comes in a cylinder style. This is the perfect design for me as a side sleeper with neck issues. I don't care for the pattern and wish it was in a solid color but other than that it is the best neck pillow I have used.

I have arthritis in my neck and find these bean bag roll pillows are good for me to sleep on. This one had nice support but was a bit longer than my others and I couldn't find a washable cover for it. The fabric on it is very distinctive and feminine and didn't match my sheets. I need a cover to be able to wash it and blend with my bedding. I returned this.

This is a great buckwheat pillow for the price. It is very firm and I like that because I use it to support my elbow while reading in bed. I have fibromyalgia so often have aches and pains in unusual places. You can remove the hulls to adjust it to the firmness you need. The pillow cover is very attractive and is well made. Very happy with this purchase and love that the hulls are organic.

I love this pillow to cradle my neck at night and I also use it behind my lower back in my office chair during the day. I have a pinched nerve in my cervical spine so keeping my neck stable at night is very important. I have used buckwheat pillows in the past too and I am a huge fan of them in general.
