Quality, but tricky for sparrows
Seem to be squirrel proof (hurrah!). Our regular visitor became highly frustrated, biting at the bars to no effect.Tits started enjoying the feeder almost immediately, but after a few weeks watching sparrows struggle I put some slim bamboo sticks through the bars and wired them in place. With these perches to help, the sparrows are now able to use the feeders. I made the perches interlock the feeders to help prevent squirrels tip seed out and to steady the feeders to give the birds confidence.

Study feeder
So far so good. The squirrels have been sniffing around it but are leaving it alone. Hopefully this will continue. Good study feeder. Good communication from seller.

Quite small
Appears a well made product unfortunately I have only seen two small Finch feeding there. Th e seed container is quite small and after approximately one week the amount of seed used is negligible. I even removed my normal feeder but even then the birds ignored this feeder

Happy owner, and happy birds
Arrived all intact, no assembly required, filled immediately, not seen garden birds on it yet, but I know they are using it when I am not outside, very strong item and lovely light green colour of my choice. Arrived packaged really well, I love this feeder, I should imagine the birds do too. highly recommended. Thank you so much.

Squirrels ate plastic perches and tube
Started using this in June. The cage part is very sturdy and very attractive but the gaps are too large and squirrels are getting in. They’ve eaten the plastic perches and ports, so now the seed just pours out. If the the perches/ports were metallic this wouldn’t have happened. Also, if the roof was anodised, the colour wouldn’t have faded as the paint has. This feeder is nearly good but needs metallic perches, smaller gaps and an anodised roof. The peanut feeder version is much better because although they can get in, the squirrels can’t destroy the metallic wired feed tube.
