Bought three of these for my wife and she loved the look and style. Although many reviews said the top buttons were functional, none of the buttons worked on any of the three dresses we received and they all basically functioned as a full pull-over. All of the buttons were the same on all three color dresses: made of plastic, with a sort of wooden, tortoise look to them. In the end, her only minor gripe was that instead of an elastic waist, she wished it came with a tie (in the back?) of some kind so she could cinch the waist exactly where she wanted it.SIZING:She normally wears a medium but has a larger chest, so based on other reviews, I got her the large (one review said that after trying both, the most significant difference between a M and L was the chest, otherwise they were basically the same). Once she tried them on, she agreed she'd never fit into a medium, so be sure to account for your bust size before purchase.FABRIC:The fabric is very light, and I would imagine more sheer in lighter colors, but doesn't show through in medium and darker colors at all. It's a 35% Cotton, 65% polyester blend, so if you tumble dry for about 20 minutes then hang it for the remainder, it shouldn't shrink. Like all catalog clothes, these came in plastic bags so they'll arrive very wrinkled. We tossed the one she ended up keeping in the dryer with a damp cloth for about 20 minutes and it came out great! She's also steamed them and sometimes done some touch-up ironing. For a cotton/poly blend, it does wrinkle a bit more than usual with use, but that's just the look. The trick is not getting to wrinkle TOO much because then it looks like a mess.COLOR:Whoever named these colors must be severely color blind. We bought the "Light Blue," the "Pink" and the Navy. Of those, the "Light Blue" is really sort of a sage color - like a grey green and NOT any shade of blue I've ever seen. The color depicted in the photo is relatively accurate and looked fantastic on my wife. The "Pink" is really peach - again, not pink at all which is a shame because it's very pink in the photos and is what we were hoping for, but it's definitely going back as the color has so much orange in it, it completely washes out my wife's coloring. All that said, the navy blue was indeed navy blue, but the color was so dark and the buttons are so dark, it makes them hard to see so it's difficult to appreciate the styling, or as my wife put it "it's so dark you can't see how cute the dress is."Thankfully as of this writing there are free returns. Originally the plan was to hopefully keep her favorite two, but with the pink really being peach and the navy being too dark to see "how cute the dress is", we're keeping the "light blue" because we hoped it would be that sort of green/grey sage color in the photos and it was.

Well… first, I like the dress, however it is polyester and rayon, NOT poly/spandex as listed. It has a weave that somewhat looks like a linen blend… kind of a shame that they can’t just make this in a descent fabric like a cotton linen blend or in actual 100% linen. I despise cheap fabric… and as far as cheap fabric goes this is probably the best cheap fabric I could expect so I’ve rated it well, which is why I’ll keep it. But by no means is this even close to any designer fabric, so don’t expect high quality, as always you get what you pay for. The waist seam is a tad high, which is probably why others call the cut a bit “frumpy” but the length is a perfect “just past the knee” which is ideal for me (in 5’5”). 5 stars for the perfect length if you want to hide your knees a tad. The buttons are not functioning but it’s such an easy dress to wear, pulls on over the head (or step in) not zip needed… easy to wear.. + pockets!!. I love the pockets- always a plus! It’s not lined, but in the dark green it’s not an issue. Very breathable and great for summer. Ignore the wash label: Washing on gentle might be too harsh in old machines, by hand is best or gentle cycle- the stitching is poor, and will likely disintegrate in a normal machine wash cycle. Tide will likely be too harsh on the fabric, I’d recommend a better detergent for washing like the laundress delicate wash. Drying is how those horrid edge rolls occur- it is best to partially machine dry( say 20% dry) and air dry on a drying rack- smoothed out and pulled tight by hand, to dry the other 80%. Yeah- kinda weird to wash and dry like it was some kind of luxury fabric, when it’s actually very cheap fabric/ but it’s worth the effort to keep it nice, and when kept nice it looks pretty great… if you aren’t willing to wash like this move on- because it’s not high enough quality to last average washing long term,

I bought this dress, thinking it had buttons so I could nurse in it. Come to find the buttons are just for show and the dress can only be pulled over the head. Therefore, it’s not suitable for nursing, but if you don’t need the buttons to be functional, then it’s a very cute dress, good quality, fabric, and true to size. I am 5’6” and 150 lb and ordered a small. If you’d like it to fit a little more loose I would size up.

If I was able to feel this dress in the store before I bought it, I would have put it back on the rack. The fabric is rough and doesn’t stretch. Once I put it on it felt fine, however. The tag says 65% polyester and 35% cotton. The buttons down the front are fake, you can’t unbutton them. Big pockets on the front. Surprisingly low cut for how modest the length. is.

Love the dress, it is not see through like some . It fit perfectly ( size M ) I’m about 120 lbs. 5’4 in height. I want one in every color.

I love the length of the dress and the v- neck does not plunge too deeply. I would eyewear this everyday in all colors!

Overall, I like this dress. I got it in two colors -- pink and green. First, I tried it in an XL based on the reviews saying size up. I usually wear a large in dresses that have minimal stretch because of my bust. The XL was too baggy and gave me the "sister wives" look, but it was so comfy and still cute in its own way that I'm keeping it as a beach cover-up, because paired with a swimsuit and flip flops it's a cute look and provides coverage. I re-ordered in a large and it definitely fits and flatters my figure, for the most part. I took off a star because I'm not a huge fan of the material, it feels a bit on the rough side and wrinkles easily. Not unwearable rough, but I do think this could be softer. It's also see through in pink. My final issue is that the waist rides up on me due to a slight protruding belly and tries to give me somewhat of an empire waist. It's not egregious, and doesn't ride up ALL the way to the bust, but I have to keep an eye on it and pull it down from time to time.I'm 5'7", 149 pounds with a 37" bust and a 31" waist.

I bought this dress to throw on when on holiday and I am really pleased with it. It’s like a linen material and is quite thick so you can wear it as a proper dress as opposed to a beach cover up - in these photos I am wearing a black bra and you cannot see it through the dress. I am a size 12 with big hips and got the L and it fits perfectly. It’s quite a flattering fit and feels very easy to wear. My husband couldn’t believe how cheap it was when I told him - it does look more expensive than it was. I am really tempted to order this in other colours.

Cute dress that fit pretty well (but high waist for tall people), but sadly it shrunk a LOT after just one wash in cold water and now is unwearable. Contacted seller 3 times, but no response. Not recommended.

The sizing fits well, it just didnt sit as well as the picture looks.

Be careful, the dress does not look like the main pictures where it is worn by the a model. It looks like the other pictures showing a dress which has an elastic waist in the front... which gives a totally different look when worn.

Ich war wirklich skeptisch, wurde aber mehr als positiv überrascht. Das Kleid sitzt toll, sieht super aus und das Material ist sehr angenehm zu tragen. Ich habe S bestellt und es fällt auf jeden Fall so aus.
