Why would you want 100 splits??Easy..
I didn't realize how important having a hundred splits would be...lets look at swimming, if you were in a 25 yards pool and doing a 500, at a minimum that would be about 20 splits, what if you also wanted to notate time under water (flip turn), and time performing strokes, now you are at 40 splits, also you can further breakdown the flip turn. As you breakdown for further measurements its starts to add up. Now you have enough for good data, on flips turns, dolphin kick time, and stroke time. To collect good data for analysis of areas of improvements. Great price, easy to use, and a decent memory size for recalls.

Not as easy to use as it seems.
When using Recall you have to switch into another mode. This is very time consuming. Coaching swimming there is not enough time to get use the recall and be ready for the next event. Also, the start stop button fell off on the fourth day of use, but still works.

NOT Water Resistant!
I purchased this watch 6 months ago and it was great for our cross country season. Now that I am in swim season, it was lightly splashed and those drops wicked right into the watch. I believe it was right between the screen and the edge. The water you see is on the inside. The watch still runs but you can see the water moving inside the screen and when there is any sun on it, it clouds the whole screen so you cannot read it. We have many of these types of watches for coaching and this is the newest one (different company) and it is already unusable. For a $30 stopwatch (when there are 6-packs of less expensive watches for $17… 6, so $3 each!) I expect it to last years! Water Resistant it is not.
