I love this bike. Only thing I love more than the bike is the company. This company puts it's money where it's mouth is. First, this bike comes fully assembled except for the pedals which are super easy to attach. In my case, the bike came needing some minor adjustments. The company says this is normal when a bike is shipped assembled. The back wheel guard was hitting the tire so that needed to be fixed. Also, there was a squeaking sound from rubbing on the wheel mechanism and the steering wouldn't line up straight and needed to be adjusted. I contacted the company and even though, due to the pandemic, I couldn't reach anyone on the phone, they responded to my emails very quickly. They sent me instructions and videos on how to fix most of what needed to be adjusted. I was able to straighten the steering very easily and fixed the back wheel guard also but I was not able to fix the squeak and the brakes needed some adjusting as well that I didn't want to do myself. The company told me to take the bike to a local shop for a tune-up and they would pay. Not only did they pay but they had already processed the payment within 4 hours of me emailing them the receipt so this company really does what they say they are going to do. As for the bike, I LOVE THIS BIKE! I have ridden foldable bikes before that felt kind of rickety. This bike is super solid and feels great on the road. The battery has been excellent so far and the power is more than what I need. I just rode up a huge hill in Manhattan on the way home from the bike shop. It's about 10 blocks and rather steep. I used the top gear and 5 on power assist and was able to pedal up the entire hill....no problem. I was breathing heavy when I got to the top but we're talking 10 city clocks or more up and I'm 62 years old! I researched a lot of bikes before I bought this and for the price point...this is the best bike out there!!

The safety features cause the motor to stop EVERY time you apply the brakes. If youre going uphill and brake the motor will stop and youre stuck with having to completly stop the bike to start the motor again, which can be difficult if you have bags of groceries on the rack and have the gear at #6. You'll have to walk the bike to shift it down to #1 and then get back on the bike and start to peddel to restart the motor (which dosent happen everytime, it may take a few attempts to restart it). Also, if you're stopped at a crosswalk and slightly peddle it will jump into PAS and cause you to hit pedestrians.

I had never ridden an e-bike before and ordered this one because i needed a good folding bike and saw the great reviews and it has exceded my expectations and i feel energized while and after i ride it. Had a few questions about the bike and customer service was great. The seat was very uncomfortable for me initially but resolved after i placed a foam cushion cover on the seat that i bought for $25 at a local bike shop but i currently weigh 245 lbs so i cant blame it all on the seat. Very nice bike. Definitely recommend it.

Last year I bought a different brand of folding e-bike for wife so we could take longer bike rides together. It worked so well for her that I couldn't keep up with her. Also, I wanted to be able to carry two bikes in the back of our SUV while towing our travel trailer. So this year I looked for a folding e-bike for myself and ended up with the Totem. I only use the power assist when my wife is disappearing on a long uphill stretch, but it is great to have it when I need it.The Totem cost a little more than my wife's Ancheer e-bike, but it was a much better buy. Unlike the Ancheer it arrived without any blemishes or broken parts and fully assembled. It also includes a speedometer/odometer/trip meter in the electronic control unit. It doesn't come with a headlight or horn like the Ancheer, but then the Ancheer's horn switch arrived broken, making it useless.One feature I'd pay more for if it was available is higher gearing. By about 12 mph in top gear my legs are pumping a lot faster than I'd like. The Totem's six speeds are spaced wider apart than the Ancheer's seven speeds, making it a little better, but a second range of gears would be a big improvement.The Totem is also much more stable when folded. I had to craft a wooden support to stand the folded Ancheer upright, and even with that it tends to tip and needs an extra tie-down to keep it in place. Both bikes are awkward to lift when folded, but the Totem is 8 lbs lighter, making it a little easier to handle.Finally, I've been much more impressed with Totem's customer support, which is virtually non-existent for Ancheer.

My son received this for his birthday. He’s 9 so i wanted something for him to grow into. After dropping the chair down and moved it forward, hes in perfect riding position. We are taking bike trails slowly per week, we started out at 5 miles then 11 miles. At 5 miles with pedal assist, battery was shown still full. At 11 miles round trip the batter only show 1 bar used with 4 left to go. For the price, range and quality, I don’t think theres much out there that have this product beat. He always have issue with hills around us, but with this bike he is able to bike with us any where and still enjoy the riding experience.I am slowly transition our other manual bikes over to electric bikes, totem got my business for the next 3 bikes for sure.

Wanted to get a bike for everyday commute to work and home. Searched on amazon. Found this Totem electric bike 240. The features of the bike lured me right away. Overwhelmingly positive review of other customers contributed to get this bike. Finally decided to buy this bike. Bike arrived before estimated arrival date. Bike arrived completely assembled and ready to use. But unfortunately, pedals and charger was missing in the box. Contacted seller and responded immediately. Within few days arrived pedals. There was some noises from disk brakes and fender. Seller told to take to a bike store and get It tuned up. Got it fixed and told seller gonna reimburse the tune up cost! Its not only ordinary bike. But Super bike! Not that much heavy, runs on battery power too. Fits in the car trunk, can store in a corner at apartment. What's more...its beautiful bike! Very Happy with Bike!
