Cheap fix for a potentialy expensive problem.
I would have rated the product higher but for the mounting option and the soft hose provided for the vacuum line. It collapsed as soon as I started the engine. The overall quality of the catch can is impressive and well made. The mounting bracket, though strong, is located poorly and offers only a bolt and nut mounting solution. I had to grind a surface down of the mount to can surface to turn it 180* for a self tapping screw mount. Not all fuel injected, modern cars, require this modification. If fuel is not injected into the intake manifold, and only direct cylinder injection, the intake valves become contaminated with the pcv fumes. Expensive fix. Most non-tech car owners have no clue of what they are facing down the road.

Decent can after adding better hose lines
Ease of install would be 5 stars if bolting on the bracket (top part of can has a "c" bracket with two bolt holes) wasn't a mission impossible. After several attempts only the lower bolt of two was installed. On the material side it's pretty decent for the price except for the hoses included. Why even include them if they are practically useless...that right there just ticks me off!!

Works great! Filled up after 150 mile drive!
My engine has 142000 miles on it so it burns some oil and i wanted to get a catch can to prevent carbon and oil buildup in my intake manifold and cylinders. It filled up after a 150 mile drive, which seems like a lot to me, but means it definitely works! I would first try the product with the breather, if it causes a vacuum leak then obviously you can’t use the breather.Modifications I made to the product: I used my own vacuum hoses to install and I put a piece of steel wool inside the baffles to prevent any oil from being sucked into the intake.

works well,very adaptive
The hose that comes with it is junk but we already know that from previous reviews. No big deal, fuel or transmission cooler line will work. It's nice the 3 different size barbed fittings come with the catch can. I didn't use the breather because my application was on an EFI system but it's a nice little extra I can use for other projects. As long as you use the O rings and teflon tape that come with it, it is airtight. Test it with a vacuum pump, just to make sure. As for the installation, it's up to you how difficult. Some guys will use a tye strap and call it a day and others will do an install that will survive a NUKE! The can itself is very nice, anodized finish, dip stick and optional vent. The threading machinery is good, that is one thing I'm happy about. Aluminum is so easy to cross thread but a bit of oil, use the O-ring and it screws on nice and clean.

Great catch can. Horrible Hoses and Mounting Hardware.
Great catch can other then the horrible pcv hose it comes with and the bracket to install it. You will want to buy some pcv hose from a auto parts store that’s thicker, the hoses that come are garbage and flatten when the engine is started. The bracket well.. it’s just not ideal in anyone’s engine bay. But I have the tools to make a bracket so I was okay without it. Other then that it’s great catch can has done great for my 02 Grand Marquis.

Excellent product at an excellent price
I used this on a built up mini bike engine to work backwards. By that, I mean to contain oil that blows out of the crankcase. That requires swapping the inlet/outlet so that the oil hits the baffles on the way in to help keep the oil in the can. The dipstick is a big help but I’d pay more for a sight tube to see how full it is in an instant. Great product for the money!

Great piece of kit - mostly
My son's and I bought this to put into our performance 2011 Mini Cooper S. The install was straight forward and easy, even if you do not have a lot of experience working on cars. I looks really good (especially the contrast of the brushed red can to the racing green Mini). Install it into a place that is easy to reach for checking the dipstick and for removing the can when you need to empty it and everything will be perfect. The reason for only four starts on Quality and Values are the included hose. This is absolute crap, does not work and will potentially cause issues. The hose is a thin wall, rubberized POS. For this type of oil/air separation system that has a vacuum pressure you must have sturdy hose. Make sure you purchase some quality rubber fuel line hose separately to use.You may want to put a move visible mark on the dipstick as well, it can be a bit difficult to read.

Amazing quality. Great value for the price
Very good quality product. I wasn't expecting it to be nearly as nice as what arrived. Only complaint is the hose that is provided was flimsy. I purchased some fuel hose from the local parts store for a couple bucks. Perfect install for kia stinger with k&n intake. I used the fender mount spot for the stock intake and stock bolt and used a heavy duty L bracket from HD painted black to mount.

10/10
The media could not be loaded. Honestly it works just as good as the 250$ ones, but you have to do your research and just get the proper hose lines and fittings. After the can and the additional parts it costed me 70$ so definitely a budget breaker compared to 250$. No problems easy install. Most hard part was mounting it but buy and L bracket and your set. 10/10 came fast installed in a Veloster turbo 13

Good quality
Haven't installed yet. Looks like good quality. I was expecting cheap clear lines with it, based on some reviews, it came with decent black ones. Will update ones installed.

Is as advertised
Once again...it is of decent quality, the hose supplied is useless and new quality hose will have to purchased.
