I have a Fluke and a Klein at my business.I needed one to check some wires on my second house. I did not want to spend the money for good brand so I bought this cheapo one. For what I needed it works good. Maybe first time I drop it, it will break and stop working. I don't know.However, the reason I bought the Fluke after already owning the Klein, is that my electrician told me the reason he switched from Klein to Fluke was that Klein would break when he dropped them and he uses these every day and a lot of his work is outside.

Great price,work right out the box comes with batteries and instructions. Love the flash light feature. Strong beeping signal and light to let you Know it's working as it should. I do recommend it.

My parents just moved into a new place and this electrical tester came in extremely handy. It’s an older place so I installed new light fixtures and smart switches. Although my electrical knowledge is the equivalent of kicking tires when the car won’t start, this tester allowed me to troubleshoot most of the problems I encountered… like trying to figure out the live, neutral, and ground wires when they were all painted over with the same color as the wall. Plus some of the wall sockets worked, some sort of worked, and some were dead. Anyway, the sensitivity of the electrical tester worked well and the volume of the beep was more than sufficient to convey the status of the wires although I visually double-confirmed each time. There were also many wall plates covering up loose but capped wiring that I checked to make sure there was no current running through them.Overall, a very easy-to-use, and convenient electrical tester. It seems well made and designed is very ergonomic making it easy to maneuver even when wearing work gloves.

If you're doing any electrical work, this tool will give you confidence to work around electrical outlets and light switches safely. I would not doing any of this work without being absolutely sure the power is off! Test and double test to make sure.

Il cercafase è del tipo senza contatto, basta quindi semplicemente avvicinarlo alla presa e/o al filo da testare, senza inserirlo ed è dotato di doppia sensibilità, alta (48V - 1000V) e bassa (12V - 1000V).Il cercafase necessita di due batterie AA (in dotazione) per funzionare ed è munito di torcia e di display elettronico in grado di fornire tutte le informazioni necessarie per il lavoro che deve svolgere. Oltre che distinguere tra fase e neutro in una presa a muro (avvertendoci con segnalazioni visivoacustiche diverse (vedasi video) il tester è anche in grado di individuare se passa corrente o meno da un filo elettrico ed indicare il punto esatto dove c'è un'interruzione di collegamento nel filo.Il cercafase senza contatto è realizzato in ABS (acrilonitrile butadiene stirene) e (cloruro di polivinile) PVC ed in prossimità del suo display sono presenti due pulsanti di cui uno (Power) serve ad accendere/spegnere il tester mentre l'altro (arancione) ad impostare la sensibilità desiderata (bassa/alta).I colori dello schermo cambiano da verdi a rossi a seconda del valore di tensione individuato (basso=verde, alto=rosso) mentre contemporaneamente il segnale acustico da lento diventa più veloce. In caso di basso voltaggio (24V-48V) il colore del display rimane verde mentre diventa rosso per voltaggi tra 48V e 100V al superamento dei quali (oltre i 100V) poi sul display rosso si aggiunge anche il simbolo del fulmine.Utilissima per poter lavorare in condizioni di poca luce la torcetta incorporata che permette di illuminare adeguatamente persino le lavagne elettriche e/o i fili elettrici ispezionati.Punti a favore:- cercafase senza contatto- segnali visivi ed acustici differenti- attrezzo a forma di penna con clip per la tasca- richiede pile di facile reperibilità- facile da usare- bassa, media, alta sensibilità indicate sul display- due sensibilità V impostabili- torcia incorporata- display integrato- manuale anche in ItalianoPunti contro: al momento nessuno.Considerazioni finali:Non sono un elettricista ma mi capita di dover fare qualche intervento semplice e capire se si tratta di una cosa semplice di mia portata oppure di una che richiede l'intervento dell'elettricista.Per capire qual'è la fase e il neutro in una presa a muro, oppure se in un filo elettrico passa corrente o meno sono cose che non richiedono necessariamente l'intervento di un elettricista. Basta avere a portata di mano un attrezzo come questo cerca fase della Proster.Mi piace particolarmente il fatto che non devo inserire il tester nei fori della presa a muro per capire se c'è corrente e distinguere tra fase e neutro! Lo stesso vale in caso di un filo elettrico che presenta un'interruzione di contatto nel suo percorso. Basta passare sopra il cerca fase per trovare il punto in cui c'è stata l'interruzione e provvedere a ripararla sostituendo il filo dopo aver tolto la corrente, ovviamente!Queste sono le ragioni per le quali ne sentivo la necessità e che mi hanno spinto a farne richiesta. Il cercafase soddisfa a pieno le mie aspettative ragion per cui ne consiglio l'acquaito!Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo!

The media could not be loaded.  Nice and easy to use. Slightly oversensitive but good quality for the price. Good little tester, shows voltage well and is audible, which is handy. Obviously, you still need to check properly with probe testers, but you're working on it. I'll probably lose it soon, which is why I don't spend the extra money to get a Fluke or other top brand tester.

Ich (Elektriker) musste ein paar Leitungen tauschen in einer angehängten Decke, Sicherung an und es piepst bei der richtigen Leitung, aus und es hört auf. So konnte ich sicherstellen das richtige Kabel zu kappen.Auch das Leitungs suchen in der Wand ist damit ganz gut machbar. Dazu einfach die Sensibilität hoch und fertig.Zum Manko...Will man damit länger arbeiten, sollte man dafür sorgen das genügend AAA Batterien zur Hand sind....Sonst ein wunderbarer Helfer der genau das macht was er soll.Und somit trotz des Batterie Verbrauchs eine klare Kaufempfehlung.
