Awful basically tin wire
Does not flow at all on copper wire. Basically useless. Does not appear to be any flux in this solder despite it clearly stating "flux core" on the package. Almost impossible to even get it to melt, with a 200 WATT IRON. Go buy from your local hardware store instead.

Works well with a good iron
You need a hotter iron - don't use a cheap iron because non-lead solder melts at a high temperature. I use this solder for very small SMD and through hole connections. It also works well when soldering cable connections. Make sure your work area is well ventilated (I installed a fume extraction system above my work bench).

Standard solder. Works great
You're reading this review because you wanna know if this inexpensive solder works and it does. I soldered a bunch of wording for my jeep and it holds great. Don't forget to put the heat shrink on first!
