Garage Saver and Peace of Mind
This little spring has been a life (and rafter) saver. I bought my 80lb bag about a year ago and use it two to three times a week in my unfinished 70's construction garage. Every punch or kick landed would cause the entire garage to shake loudly. When my wife heard me in their once, she was use the building was going to come down. While there was NO damage to the rafters from the bag, it was loud and definitely made punching a day-time only event. I picked up this spring about a month ago - it's hefty. My young son decided he wanted to pull on it and couldn't make it budge. Even set up the spring had very little give. I have to admit, I didn't think this would work all that reasonably well. Once everything was connected, I gave the bag a few practice hits. Nothing. Not BOOM, no annoying swivel sounds, no sproing, nothing. The rafters didn't grown, the building didn't shake and the bag stayed much more still. Due to the my schedule I can either box after lunch, or late at night - and night wasn't an option before, so there is that. I'm not a structural engineer - and to be honest, the old hanger probably wasn't doing any damage - but the "feel" of punching and the satisfaction of knowing I'm not keeping everyone in the block awake is well worth the cost.

Heavy Duty!
I didn't expect this spring to be as large or as strong as it is. It works great on a heavy bag.

Sturdy, less noise and house shaking
I had a heavy bag hung up with a spinner and some chains, the typical way. After reading and watching about how a spring can dissipate shock and be less noisy I thought I’d buy one. I ordered this ringside spring and it seems heavy duty. It’s really stiff before I connected it up to anything. I hung it from the ceiling after building a sturdier mounting box for the basement, and then I hung a 100 pound heavy bag on it. When I punch the heavy bag now it does seem to decrease the noise and shock of it and it also doesn’t seem to swing around so much when I’m hitting it. A nice thing is that it doesn’t spin around in circles like when I had one of those rotating links on it before. I would say overall that I am very satisfied and it’s very reasonably priced.

Stable (and quiet!) Heavy Bag accessory
Using tie down straps on both ends of this spring result in a very stable and quiet heavy bag workout. There is no metal on metal to cause grinding or squeaking, only the sound of you hitting the bag. The spring also prevents the bag from freely spinning so the bag settles back into original position relatively quickly. The attached pics show the spring configuration on a 70lb Everlast bag on an 7' Everlast stand. The very top of the heavy bag is at 5' (the top seam of the bag is at 4'9"). The spring itself is around 7" so either use shorter tie down straps or hook the spring directly on the metal stand hook and bag rings if you require a taller punching area. Very satisfied with this product.

Absorbs the impact
I have two of these. One for a 100 pound bag and one for a 65 pound bag. It does a great job of absorbing the impact when the bag swings around. I had an issue with my 100 pound bag of it getting bouncy when working the bag hard. I fixed this by tying off the bottom of the bag so it swings less. Works great!

you have to buy it if you don't want your house coming apart
You know how building here in States are built. Two by four, some wooden sheets in between and you have excellent american build house. Now some of them are covered by brick thin layering, but it is actually not for structural integrity but for element protection. So, in all you have pretty weak structure, and now you attach 100 pound boxer bag to it. And what you have? Your entire house is moving with your punches. It won't break it of course, but it will emit lots of awkward shifts to your entire floor. I attached my 100 bag to garage for this reason, every punch resonated through entire structure. Now I put this beauty in between chain assembly and it stopped. there is no movement in the structure at all. Of course if your house is made of concrete you may not need it.

Works with my 100 lb air/water bag
I have this on my 100 lb jungle bear air/water bag. It really dampens movement. I did put Tubing around the "hooks" (which wasn't easy) to help prevent wear. Makes it so my wife isn't wondering if I fell down somewhere. Great value for the money.

Good Spring
The spring is a little larger than I was expecting but not huge (see pics). I use a small 40lb bag so I don't get much extension on this thing. I put my weight on it though and I can see it is definitely a strong spring. This would be a good thing to have for a ceiling mount so you can lessen the shock it puts on your houses frame. It could probably help lessen the overall stress on the bag as well so it can help prevent rips.Definitely worth a couple bucks for all the benefits it offers.

Es el quinto resorte que uso para el costal de box, los otros no pasaban de 2 días, este tiene 1 mes usándolo todos los días y esta como en la imagen NUEVO. Mejor imposible. No se deforma y regresa el costal con velocidad a su sitio. Excelente

I've been using this and a swivel with a 120 lb teardrop bag and a 140 lb thai bag for workouts two or three times a week for all of 2020. I'm 200 lbs and am practicing thai boxing, so lots of hard kicks and knees. Works fine for both of them, not too much bouncing and takes a lot of the vibration out of the ceiling joists. Seems to be holding up well so far. If I was super picky, I'd prefer a little bit less stretch in the spring, and a fully round eyelet so that there's no chance of it coming loose accidentally. (Hasn't happened yet, but you never know.)

This is a good heavy duty spring, it eliminated all the vibrations from punching my Everlast Hydrostrike heavy bag. I was about to buy a bag stand due for around $200...this did the job for $18.00

Le ha dado vida nueva al costal, al techo y a mi entrenamiento, tener en cuenta que agrega unos 15 cm al colgar el saco. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.
