Balance Aluminium LED wall clock [HE-CLOCK-27]

J'en avais déjà acheté deux par le passé, mais une a rendu l'âme après de nombreuses années de service. J'en ai acheté trois, une pour ma cuisine, une pour mon living et une pour ma salle de bain, j'en avais encore une qui fonctionnait dans mon hall d'entrée. Quand on se lève la nuit, c'est super pratique, il ne faut même pas allumer les luminaires, on peut se repérer dans la nuit grâce aux leds. J'ai choisi ce modèle ci car ici les secondes commencent par la droite, secondes représentées par soixante leds tout autour de l'horloge, donc quand il est midi une seconde, la seconde va tout de suite sur l'emplacement de la première led en partant de la droite, tandis que sur les nouveaux modèles les secondes partent par la gauche, donc quand il est midi une seconde, la seconde part de la dernière led par la gauche, , elle passe donc par toutes les leds , pour arriver à l'emplacement de la première led, donc je trouve personnellement que ça attire plus l'attention et vu que celle que j'ai dans le living se trouve sur le mur au dessus de ma tv, j'ai préféré l'ancien modèle. Elles se sont très vite mise à l'heure. La semaine passée j'ai eu les plombs qui ont sauté et elles sont restées à l'heure. J'en suis très contente.

I do like the design of this clock and would have given it a 5 star rating. However the radio control is useless for this country as it is tuned to the Frankfurt transmitter. The clock therefore sets itself to European time not much use in England as our time band is one hour behind. There were not even any English instructions in the box. Fortunately being an electronic engineer of 31 years standing I was able to disable the radio control and use the clock as an ordinary quartz clock so I am happy with it. However I do feel that items sold on Amazon to this country should be checked for compatibility (in this case Time Zone) for this country. Someone who is less experienced in electronics than me could be completely confused when the clock sets the wrong time.David Dorrington.

Zugegeben: es ist bereits in mehreren Rezensionen zu lesen, daß die Leuchtdioden (LEDs) dieser Uhr SEHR, SEHR hell sind und die LEDs NICHT dimmbar sind, habe ich mich dennoch für diese Uhr entscheiden, weil ich für mich selber entscheiden wollte, ob die LEDs wirklich zu hell sind. Uhr kam an, ausgepackt, angeschlossen (Uhrzeit war sofort korrekt eingestellt) und tatsächlich: die LEDs sind wirklich sch... hell!Hier muss entweder wirklich nachgebessert werden: dimmbar machen, oder via Abblendfolie dunkler machen. Da ich kein Elektronikfreak bin, werde ich wohl mittels Sichtschutzfolie die Uhr abdunkeln. Sollte jemand eine einfach Lösung zum dimmen der LEDs finden, möge er seine Lösung bitte hier dokumentieren.Schön wäre es auch, wenn der Sekundenring sich manuell deaktivieren ließe. Abgesehen davon bin ixch aber sehr zufrieden mit der Uhr.

Eigentlich ist das eine schöne Uhr. Lieferung war mit Hermes.... allein das reicht bei mir für ein Stern abzug. Die Uhr hat sich nach etwas Überlegen (komischer weise war sie schon einmal auf Winterzeit eingestellt gewesen ) selbst eingestellt. Aber : Sie ist, und das hätte man eigentlich in den anderen Bewertungen schon lesen können, deutlich zu hell. Ich weis, dass in Bewertungen gerne übertrieben wird. Und jeder hat auch sein eigenes empfinden von hell ! Aber diese Uhr taugt als Stadionuhr von Schalke 04 !!!! Da kann keiner bei schlafen. Schade. Aber sie geht leider zurück !

This clock hasn't set itself yet in two days, I'm in the south east so closer to Germany than most, and although you can manually adjust the hours (and minutes) using buttons on the back there are no English instructions, just German ones. There is also only a european power supply, which is illegal - all items sold to the UK market MUST have a UK power supply or adapter included. I had high hopes for this clock, but have been disappointed.
