We bought the vest for our indoor cat who loves to roll around in the grass right outside our house (supervised at all times). She never went far until she saw a squirrel and chased it up a tree. After that she tried climbing our tree a couple of times so we were afraid to let her out. Now, with this comfortable and attractive vest with a leash, she can still go out and enjoy the fresh air without us worrying. She needs to get used to it a bit more, but we feel confident that she will. One drawback is that she can easily slip one paw through the opening. We are working on figuring out how to stop that.

Bluepaw looked at me indignantly when I put it on, then spent 2 minutes furiously trying to get out of it (I think she could do it if I gave her a third minute) but then she was really happy outside! She is 9 weeks old and weighs 2 pounds. The tiniest harness is slightly too big on her but given the way my little monster eats she’ll fit (and then outgrow) it in no time. I think this harness and leash will grant Blue and me the freedom to explore the world a little more while still keeping her safe.

I was having issues with my medium dog (25lb Pug/Beagle mix) slipping out of his other harnesses and/or the harness being impossible to put on.This harness has been perfect with avoiding both of those problems so far!!! You just slip the pet’s front paws through and wrap around the body. Not only is there thick Velcro to adjust the circumference but also a snap mechanism to hold it all together. There are straps that are adjustable that go around the body to reinforce the fit. I haven’t had a single incident of him slipping out since, and the whole thing takes three seconds to put on.He looks so comfortable with it on; it doesn’t look or feel too snug, but I’m confident he won’t be able to get out on his own. It looks and feels really well made for this price.I’ll update if it doesn’t hold up, but so far so good; I really doubt I’ll have to update :)

We have a five month old Maine Coon, Floki. I bought the XS harness for him when we first got him (at 3 months old) and at that time it was still pretty loose so I waited to try again and then the XS was too small, couldn't connect the velcro at all. I waited too long.I bought another one recently, a Small, and it fits well. If Floki pulls against the leash though, he can manage to slip out of the harness so I overlap the velcro a bit to make it as tight as I can without it being uncomfortably tight on him. I think it's more a matter of silky cat hair making it really easy for cats to slip out of things if there is any wiggle room at all. Floki is getting used to the harness and leash now though and doesn't pull against it much.I think this harness is very nice looking. We got the brown corduroy and it's like a nice vest (see the pictures I posted). The leash is okay but I plan to get one that is longer and that has a really beefy clasp. I do really like that the vest has two metal rings to hook the leash to and the little straps they are attached to help to keep the vest secure when the rings are clipped into a leash, but also just in case the leash comes loose from one ring, it's still attached to the second one (hopefully).I really wish that I could find a cat-specific harness that was sturdy and nice-looking like this. This one is for small dogs or cats and it's nice but I think it could be a little more customized for cats (small arm holes so it's harder for a cat to get out of it). That said, I do really like this harness compared to the others I've seen so far and I plan to buy the next size up as Floki continues to grow. He's almost 10lbs at 5 months and the Small will probably last us about two more months at his present rate of growth.I do recommend this harness and leash combo for a small dog or a cat but you should try to measure your animal for the right fit because what works for one 8lb animal (for example) may not work for another depending on their build.

I have a 2 year old 10 lb Calico kitty, and she is all muscle and bone (part Maine Coon) I've been trying the harness on her to break her in to the feeling of wearing it. She's so funny! She just flops over like a drama queen, as if to say, "I'm not having any of this!". But she doesn't fight me when I'm trying to put it on. I'm pretty sure she's gonna get used to it and love it, just like those gloves that massage her while removing excess fur. But I digress.....the vest is well constructed and she looks pretty fancy rocking her red corduroy harness. Another cute feature is that the leash is the same red corduroy, so she's all "matchy matchy". Once I get her trained on this one, I'll order more colors!UPDATE! Since I ordered this harness (in a MEDIUM), my Lucy has grown and it's barely making it around her chest. I'm going to have to order another one in a LARGE. Keep in mind this is now a 14 lb Maine Coon mix. She's not fat...she's just ripped! LOL

Like: Well made. Front leg holes smaller than other XS harnesses. Soft material. Velcro is strong. Buckles are well made. Colour is soft pink not raging hot pink. There is room for my Yorkie to grow in this harness which is nice.My Yorkie "Zoey" is 9 weeks old, quite small with a 10 inch girth and neck of 7 inches. Zoey weighs 2.25 pounds to give buyers an idea of her age, weight and dimensions. I included and couple pictures to show the harness on Zoey.To make the harness fit well on Zoey I have the straps and velcro pulled to the smallest size. There is lots of room for Zoe to grow in this harness with at least 3 to 4 inches in the velcro to expand as so with the straps.

This is the second harness like this I have purchased, waiting for delivery, but only bought one before to test it out. This is the easiest harness to put on and is very soft and comfortable, no buckles or straps to rub as it atraches at the top, very easy to adjust and comes with a good length lead
