great low profile rail accessory
needed this for a SBR/pistol that had few options for a quick detach sling; I am already a fan of Strike Industries so I expected good things; this is durable and well designed

it's easy to strip
Pros: This includes the swivel attachment, despite not being pictured. It fits a picatinny rail as advertised, flush with top of the rail. It does what it says it will do. Cons: Be very, very careful with the hex bolt; it's easy to strip. Using a hex wrench with hand tightening only, I managed to strip the hex head completely after adjusting the loop's rail position twice. Might just be me, but the metal hex bolt seemed softer than it should have been. Possibly related: This thing's made in Taiwan. For some, that might matter.

Wonderful idea
I have a very nice new rifle that does not have a forward QD swivel mount. I put this on the top picatinny rail. It fits perfectly under the forward extension part of my LaRue LT104 scope mount. The Sling Loop screw requires a hex/Allen wrench. Remove the screw out of the hole where the QD swivel goes. The loop then separates into two parts. Place the long part on the rail and then attach the QD swivel portion. Then put the screw back and tighten it up. Then, you are good to go!

Get yourself one!
Sometimes it's the simple things. Something as simple as this sling mount. But this thing is built rock solid and I love how it slides in between the upper portions of the picatinny rail. I love the ability to go between clash hooks and QD mounts. When you receive it there's even a small amount of blue loctite to lock in the threads. I guess my only suggestion would be to include a small Allen key. However, I have plenty of those laying around and it was a non-issue. I would highly recommend this as I have used Magpul sling mounts very similar to this and this is just as good if not better.

Great low profile sling attachment as advertised
Great low profile sling attachment as advertised, my rear buis doesn't fold down completely flush over it but just about, possibly because of the Kriss rail and how it attaches to it. Thankfully I read a review on here that warns about the screw that tightens the Ambush down because it is scary weak and could easily break should you over tighten it. Otherwise perfect for what it's intended for.
