I made quite a few bracelets with semiprecious stone beads and this string. They stretch quite well and have held up quite well so far. I had to tie quite a few knots to keep it from untying, but a dab of glue probably would work well, too.

This is really thick. It fit through the bead, but no room to tie it off.Don't know how well it will wear.
