It's a Night LIght Too
I don't recall it saying so in the description but these bulbs technically have 4 settings since they never shut off completely. They dim three levels from bright to low and then a low low setting that stays on all the time like a night light. I have to wonder how draining that it is on the electric bill but it's a nice little feature to come downstairs to a bit of light in the kitchen. They are not quite as bright as the original bulb but bright enough for me.

Fits my above stove Microwave
This bulb fit my Frigidaire Over the Range Microwave MODEL NO. MWV150KWA I was not sure if it would fit the owners Manual and website were a bit questionable. It fits and works in the the underside for the surface light if it is a screw in light. Not the LED light that is shown in the incorrect owners manual…

Good lighting
Only one small problem with this bulb, it never shuts off. It doesn’t go on and off. It won’t change from high to low. If it did, I give it five stars.

5 Star Bulbs, 1 Star Microwave
Bought these for our Whirlpool microwave, thinking that I would forever be freed from the shackles of having to replace its finicky, not super long lasting incandescent/halogen bulb. These bulbs seem very nice and they fit our microwave, but interestingly, they never turned off. Turns out, haha, Whirlpool specifically says right in the manual that you cannot use LED bulbs in their microwaves. So, not only do these not ever turn off (there must be JUST enough current to run these, even when the microwave says the light is “off”), they also, according to Whirlpool, will somehow harm the microwave. The manual did not make it clear if this is physical or emotional pain (perhaps along the lines of, not having to change out LEDs, the microwave may begin thinking “but you never TOUCH ME anymore!” or something similar), but I’m guessing it’s physical because there were some heavy-handed hints that it wouldn’t be Whirlpool’s problem if this caused the microwave to break. So, even though these bulbs are a genius idea, they are an idea which has come before its time, at least for Whirlpool. Although I think they would technically work, the never-turning-off plus the scary all-caps warning in the manual made me go back to the old style. Some ideas are so good, they are simply too good for this world; these are fruits our Whirlpool microwave simply must not taste, apparently. :( Pros: really, really smart idea. Great way to avoid bending under the microwave, loosening the screw over the night-light lens, and losing said screw somewhere in the top of the stove, and then swearing, and then bumping my head. Cons: Great way, according to Whirlpool, to break a microwave. If YOUR brand of microwave can use these space-age future bulbs, please do not tell me about it because I will be consumed by jealousy and will cry.

Does Not Dim - Stays On but a Whirlpool issue
Purchased this for a Whirlpool WMH53521, while it fits and the shipping was fast - the light stays on, and doesn't dim. The light's "on" is what our "dim" setting use to project.,REVISED from 1 star to 4 stars- So for the model above at least it appears that its an extensive problem on the Whirlpool side. The 1st problem I tried to address was simply a blown light - while it should be no problem to just swap it out - the "dimmable" feature was never restored upon the initial replacment and the light never "turned off".I decided to order a few more bulbs both LED and standard, but again neither worked nor restored the "dimmable" functionality of the original product, and it was constantly on. I decided to order the repalcment lamp socket too and give it a try, but even after that I got the same results - light stays on and is not dimmable. So it seems to obvioiusly be sometyhing related to Whirlpool and not the actually light or socket's.I hope this saves you some time and frustration - had a I initially just reached out to Whirlpool to replace something so simple it would have still been under warranty, but now it's not! Probably the last Whirlpool product I intentional own, cause I'm ruff like that!

Microwave led bulb
After bulb was installed, the light will no longer turn off, it will dim but will not turn off so the light is on all the time! Not sure how to fix this.

Great light...
but it doesn't dim as stated. The first level on is bright and great. The second level dimmed is unusable and doesn't do a good job at all.

Short enough to fit my microwave.
Hopefully a good alternative to incandescent. Not quite as bright but hopefully last longer. Installed into Whirlpool over the counter microwave. Note that there are slightly longer bulbs with the same base which won't physically fit.

To cool and dim.
Arrived quicker than expected. Unfortunately the colour/ temperature range is too cool for my application and not bright enough. The description said it was comparative to a 40 watt halogen bulb. It's only comparative to a 40 watt incandescent; too dim. I was expecting a brighter bulb in comparison to the original. Not happy with the purchase at all.
