Just what i was looking for
perfect size. I am using for yeast storage in homebrew. 25ml of yeast slurry with 25ml of cryopreserve. The flat bottom makes it very easy to use, no need for a tray to hold upright. these are heavy duty. great value for the money.they seal well and do not leak

These do well for TC
These seem to hold up well. I have put them in a pressure cooker multiple times and they still seem to work well. I’ll update in a few months to see how well they worked. Wish they had clear lids and sterilized but for the price they are great!

fine for my purpose & no problems
5 star means, it is exactly what I expected. If people are looking for something they might (I do) use the "average customer review" display option, and I try to stay in the "most 4 and 5 range," so I wouldn't rate something lower unless there is something wrong with it.I use these, mounted in a larger container and with the tops cut off (usually) as a place to put screwdrivers, files, wrenches, drill bits, etc. Saves having to make a rack with holes in it. I would have preferred tubes without the conical bottom but could not find ones that were short enough and wide enough in any other style. If you want this size, these will work if you aren't average to conical bottoms, or you could leave the top on, saw off the conical bottom, and use them upside down.

Not for biological use
These were purchased for biological testing that involved odors. I guess I am used to them coming packed in something besides a dirty ripped ziplock, and usually in foam racks. My problem is that they have evident plastic phalate off-gassing and smell, which makes them useless for my intended purpose. Yes they are polypropylene, but either the tubes or caps are made of excessively cheap material. I would give them 1 star if they were purchased from a laboratory supply company. However, they are probably fine for anything non-laboratory related.

Look good, hold 40 115gr 9mm slugs
I’m using them for a different purpose than what they are made for. So I can’t speak to how well they work for their purpose. They hold (40) .357 115 grain slugs well. Also, they fit pretty well over the end of an Albuterol inhaler to fabricate a spacer. It’s not too easy to cut the bottom out with a sharp knife, but I imagine that probably speaks well to their Durability in their actual use.

Useful fo so many different things.
I am using these in a rather strange way. So I have a bunch of disposable ice gel packs that came with my medication. I didn't want to throw them away and reusing them wasn't idea since they ripped so easily. I wanted to reuse them. I wanted something small and durable that wouldn't break as easily to fill with ice gel. I tested out 20 vials and put them in my cooler and so far so good. Unlike typical ice gel packs, these are small and fill up crevices of my cooler pretty well.

Great for harvesting yeast for homebrewing.
I use these for harvesting yeast when I home brew. They're a nice size and I like the measurement markings on the outside of the test tubes.
