They work
Nice clips. All I did was dust off my window frame and stuck these on already attached to the cable and it was all done quick. They stick well as long as there isn't any stronger tension pulling the cable. Gravity is fine but extra weight will pull them off. But they will stay with the cable if they come off.

Not strong at all!
The adhesive on these is not very sticky at all. I wanted to tack down a flat camera power cord so it didn't look so tacky hanging from the ceiling and I put one of these clips every 3 inches to ensure that no clip had too much pressure on it from the cord.... I have very smooth drywall also.... and to no avail. My set up looked great for 2 days and then all of the clips fell off the wall and my cable is dangling again. Useless...

A big NO on these.
I bought these to run 60 feet of flat ethernet cable along a wall and to an upstairs room. So the purpose of a product that keeps a cable connected to a wall is to what? Not a trick question: It's to keep the cable connected to the wall. But not these. You peel off the back to expose a Post-It® quality adhesive pad. I thought, "How is this going to support the weight of a cable?" Easy answer: It's not. In addition, using a small screwdriver, you have to pry each connector apart a little just to get the cable in the slot. After 5 minutes of this jazz, I gave them to my 10 year old so he could organize some floor cables on his computer set up. If gravity is not against these connectors, they are OK to use. Almost any pressure and that Post-It® quality adhesive says "Sayonara!"By the way, I love the Amazon review question: "Easy to remove -1 thru 5 stars." Oh yeah, they're really easy to remove. So much so, they do it all by themselves!

Great idea but poor performance
I bought these to install a hardline to my computer. The idea is excellent, but that's about it. They're very hard to slip onto the line, although I understand the need for them to fit tightly. However, I could have accepted that had the adhesive worked well. I bought adhesive, so I didn't have to put nails in the newly painted walls using the brackets that came with my line. I had to anyway because these alone wouldn't hold the line up. They do work as to keep the line flat once the weight is held by the nail on brackets. Money wasted. They might hold better if you put them up first and add the line after they've set a bit. It will be difficult to get the cord in, however, and you may tear it off the wall, damaging the finish. Not sure as mine didn't hold three minutes.

Very easy to apply, but adhesive could be stronger
I mounted these up a wall and around painted ceiling moulding. I loved that they were so easy to install and I didn't need tools. For the most part they hold well (as long as you thoroughly clean and dry the surface first) except around corners and/or if there's any tension in the cable-- they came unattached every few days and I finally ended up replacing my corner clips with the nailed type, leaving these clips along the straight lengths of cable.

Not very sticky
The adhesive doesn’t seem to work well on my trim. A lot of these fell off within a few hours. They seem to stick better on matte surfaces like walls rather than glossy trim paint. I would also recommend wiping down with a damp cloth. Even a small amount of dust seems to inhibit adhesion.
