Aventi KP Nutritional Supplement for Cats (50 gm)

My cat gets 2 scoops twice a day. She is also on another Rx med and her kidney problems have remained very stable. That is a good thing and so I have to say this is probably helping and worth the money. I mix it with wet food and a bit of water. She seems fine with the flavor which is very helpful.

I use this for my 16y.o. cat with kidney issues!! He looks and feels better with a small scoop a day...He has also gained weight back !

I had a similar issue with my cat to the one in the other review. She was doing very poorly, wouldn't eat, lost a lot of weight and was drinking constantly and had dry mouth. I started giving this to her twice a day by mixing it into some water in a syringe, since I couldn't get her to eat. She perked up a lot after a day or so. Now she drinks a lot less, doesn't have dry mouth all the time, I can get her to eat some things and she's put back on some of the weight. Her fur looks better and she's more alert and active. It's a big relief. I did a lot of reading on this stuff and the website has an excellent .pdf file that explains what all the ingredients are for and for the advanced formula as well. If you've got a CKD or CRF cat and don't know where to start this is a good place. If you've been reading up on all the related problems, you'll be relieved to find this formula which covers so many of the pertinent issues in one go and is easy to administer and reasonably priced as well. The scoop size is very small, so even though the bottle is small it lasts quite a long time.Highly recommended.
