American Queen Size 3 Inch Thick, Firm Conventional Polyurethane Foam Mattress Pad Bed Topper Made in The USA

I had recently bought a brand new pillow top mattress, that was not cheap. It was about $2,000 and the brand is Sid and Roth. It’s a soft mattress and is comfortable when you test it out on the showroom floor. Well when we bought it, I was about 6 months pregnant, so I needed a more comfortable bed.. our previous bed was a memory foam bed which was wore out. So I decided let’s go back to a regular mattress. As soon I we slept on it, I would wake up achy and sore in the hip/back region. I’m in my 30’s and felt like I was really old and in pain just from this mattress. I thought it was because I was heavier, but my husband felt the same way. So it was past the return/exchange date for the mattress and I started researching mattress toppers. I opted for a firm one since our bed is soft... I read a lot of people go for a soft topper when they have a firm mattress. Well needless to say, I’m not pregnant anymore which I know makes some difference.. I put this topper on and it feels so much better. I don’t wake up all achy or in pain. We will see how long it lasts.. but for the price and the quality, I am very pleased.. especially since I would hate to have bought a whole new mattress/bed.

This mattress topper is advertised as firm. It is NOT! It is medium firm per the label that arrived with it (see attached picture). It made my back hurt even more and it offered NO support. There were also tons of a white substance being transferred from the topper to my hands and clothing. Extremely disappointed with this topper. I had to go through the trouble of compressing it to return. Cannot begin to explain how difficult that task was. Well at least the company paid for return shipping.

I purchased this product about a month ago. I've been struggling with a herniated disc for 4 months in my lower lumbar region. I had severe sciatica and sleeping at night on my not-so-firm mattress only unravelled any progress I made during the day with physical therapy, inversion table , chiropractic visits. I had back surgery 12 years ago and was almost certain I was headed there once more. This product saved me. I'm pain free now and can sleep through the night. It is firm but very comfortable. I read about harsh smells in other reviews that takes days or several hours to air out. I noticed a moderate smell that quickly diminished after removing it from packaging and letting it air out for a couple hours. It just smelled new like buying a plastic pool or raft, nothing offensive. It easily fit on my queen mattress. My fitted sheet even fit over it. I noticed back relief after only one night. It is firm and exactly what someone with my condition needs. I would recommend this product to anybody. I don't usually write reviews but this has saved me from pain, missing work and from spending money on other treatments and possibly another surgery. I would give 10 stars if I could!!

I purchased this topper to place on top of a Casper mattress. The Casper mattress, while super comfy, was causing my BF significant pain in his hips and back due to the softness. I had some back pain in the first few days of sleeping on it, but that's to be expected as you adjust to a different level of firmness. Once I got used to it, it's definitely been easy to sleep on and very comfortable. It's firm, so much so that my BF remarked that he felt like he was "laying on top of the mattress, rather than sinking into it". I would call it medium firm as it still has some give to it. It has eased some of the pain he experiences with hip and back problems and I've noticed he gets up with greater ease when we wake up in the morning.It's a little larger in size than my queen Casper measures, not significantly so, but there's slight overhang on all sides. Doesn't really bug me. I didn't notice any smell when I opened the product. I did encase the topper in a zippered mattress cover to protect it. I have not noticed that it makes me feel hot during the night, so that's definitely a plus.All in all, if you are looking for something to firm up your mattress to troubleshoot lower back and hip pain, this could help.

If Firm is the floor and a "10"then this is a "7"it has a softness that is BETTER than the tempur-pedic's sink into the bed , effectI have been a life long athlete and the memory foam we have might be great IF NO INJURIES were presentBut THIS WORKED!And it doesnt run hot as does the TPedicI will review this in a year or so (if I remember ) and updateFOR THE PRICE PAID I expect at least 2 years of good sleep from itat least !!UPDATE!!!!!!BOUGHT A NEW ONE 04/2018The old one was still good but didnt want to wait until/ if it went bad as it was getting just a little softerStill would recommend

Came much quicker than expected, took out of box, unrolled from plastic that held it together, and laid out on living room floor while we prepared the bed. We laid on a Q mattress and it fit perfectly, no overhand top/bottom or sides. I purchased a new mattress cover that fit perfectly over this topper, and mattress. My husband who has back issues is now saying "I'm sleeping like a baby". We love it, and it's made a whole difference in our aging mattress, which we could not buy a new one at this time. This is a great stop gap and has given new life to our mattress. It's firm and it's like we have a firm mattress now. Both of us are getting a great night's sleep in the last 10 days it's been on the bed. This is a great company and I would definitely but from them again. MADE IN AMERICA, love that fact. You will not go wrong in purchasing, this is 1/2 the cost of my old Memory Foam one from Costco.

It's king size and it's firm. Too firm for me but it's clearly listed as firm so I'm giving it 5 stars.Zero odor, packed very well. It fully expanded in less than 5 minutes.Nice quality foam. It would be great for adding support to and old broken down mattress.Keep in mind, it is firm....period. I'm a side sleeper and was having problems with a newly purchased mattress. I tried soft memory foam and this topper. This was not good for my shoulders. Great for back sleepers or people who want/require a nice firm mattress.
