New LIM'S Genuine Italy Leather Camera Half Case Metal Grip Dovetail Plate for Leica Q2 (Typ 4889) Brown

I am beyond pleased with this case for my Q2. It's always difficult to make a decision online for something so tactile, but the design and materials of this case are perfect (your mileage may vary, of course).I was looking for a case with a "bump" as a hand grip and wasn't quite sure I would like the rather large protrusion on the right hand side, but it turned out to be very comfortable and permits me to hold the camera very securely -- much more so than the smaller bump area on the case for my M10-P.The leather is soft to the touch and fits the Q2 perfectly. While I don't often use the Q2 on a tripod, the built-in dovetail plate was a great idea. And, unlike the case for my other Leica, this case permits easy access to the battery and the memory card without removing the case from the camera.Can't rate it any higher -- very pleased and easy to recommend.

Great fit and build. I like this better than the Leica version as it offers the ability to access the battery and memory card without having to remove the camera from the case. The extra finger grip is nice too.

This is the second Leica Q LIM I’ve ordered, this time for the Leica Q2. This is an excellent quality half-case with beautiful leather and solid metal handle. This case “fits like a glove” and allows for easily access to all controls.

The grip is well integrated into the cover and allows for a confident, comfortable, and secure hand hold.

Just love the look of this camera case, and the design allows for quick access to the battery and the SD card without having to remove the case. The grip greatly improves the ergonomics of the camera, and the stitching and finish is top notch all the way around the camera. I would totally buy this again if something happened to it, and I would recommend this to friends. Sorry for the dark photo!
