Perfect amount of sound for me a 35 year old. Great idle, great sound when giving it just a little gas and on the highway. Left my resonator on and so I haven’t noticed any drone on the highway with the radio on just on low volume. Would buy again.

I bought this muffler for my 2011 F-150 5.0 Super Crew. I kept the stock resonator on and had a turn down right after the rear axle. I kept the resonator because I have a 6 month old and I did not want it to be too loud. It has a nice smooth tone, and you know it's there when driving and idling. I gave it four stars because as soon after I put it on my gas mileage dropped 2-3 mpg, and no it's not from led footing it. I was driving the speed limit and using cruise control. After a couple of days of driving my mileage was back to normal. Guess it just took a couple of days for all 123 computers on the truck to learn something was different. But it has a great deep sound.

I'm running a 454" powered '71 Corvette that has a high-performance factory cam, a high-rise Edelbrock intake, and a 3310-2 Holley carburetor. Up until now I had a set of stock mufflers on it and it would fall flat on it's face at around 3600 rpm. After installing these 40-Series Flowmasters it blasts up to it's 5500 rpm red line with no signs of exhaust restriction whatsoever. And as I'm also running a heavily-modified TH700R4 the amount of exhaust drone at cruising speeds is very small. For those of you who want a very decent street/strip muffler at an affordable price these 40-Series Flowmasters are the way to go. And with the free shipping they're even better.

good solid muffler i have not installed it yet but it should fit perfect would recommend this muffler to anybody wanting to make they truck to sound loud and aggressive 👌 update. i welded this muffler on my 2000 F-150 V8 and it fits perfect thought it was going to be allot louder but its not much more louder than the stock muffler its got a nice rumble when you accelerate fast overall its i good muffler for someone wanting there truck have a rumble but not an obnoxious loud 👍

Love the sound. Not overly loud just a very nice throaty sound.

I bought this for my 2016 Ford F150 V6. Even though is says it doesn't fit pipes can be made to make it fit. It has a nice throaty sound at idle and up to 5000 rpms on a V6. Much better than the stock muffler. I also deleted the resonator. Good product
