Great Game!!!
I saw this game while at the Apple store and purchased it due to `nag-factor'. My son is three and really dug into it and held his attention. It looks like an episode of the show, but he can play along. It was nice that it was his level and he did not need me to come and help every few minutes like with some other games. Or worse, most of the time my son loses interest in 5 minutes and the purchase is a waste. It kept Trevor busy for almost an hour and he's played it again a few times. He keeps going back to the driving and flying games mostly, of course as a boy. The only thing I could say is the box make it sound like an educational game, but it looks like a regular `fun-game' to me, that's the only thing. I think they oversold the educational value on the box, but I guess they all do that now. The other reviews seem harsh, especially because their only point is the game is short. It sounds like their kid liked it enough to finish though. But I don't like my son to camp out on the computer all day anyway, so maybe he takes longer. About an hour is right to me. But I'm online now to get another Diego game for him (he's asking), so overall it's obviously a good game.

So totally not worth it.
I was very disappointed in this product. I wasn't expecting anything as sophisticated as you get in an adult game, but I've seen many free flash games that had more content than this disk. There are only 8 games total on this disk and 4 of them are essentially slight variations on the same game. Most of the remaining games are very short and they don't change when you play them again. My 5 and 3 year old ran through the games on this disk in about 20 minutes and then were totally bored with it. I don't blame them. They can easily find more interesting and varied content at PBS kids online for free.

That was it?
My three-year-old finished this game in a half hour and he has a hard time manipulating my adult size mouse. Even my son was clearly perplexed when I told him that was it, that he'd finished the game. I am appalled that the publisher has the nerve to charge $20 for the same entertainment time of a single episode of the Diego television show. If you want to get a Diego game, go for the Dinosaur Rescue one. At least that has an hour's worth of gameplay.
