it worked!
I have been wanting to find out my blood type for YEARS! why didn't i know you can just order this kit online? so cheap and easy. great instructions (watch the video a few times, get everything ready first). Got my results, and then asked ChatGPT for info, and it applied it to my other information and gave me a really helpful report. When I worked as a nutritionist, I found that people who knew their blood type and followed "Eat for your blood type" it was really accurate. Apparently, blood type will indicate your digestion tendencies.

Great at home test
Easy to use, the pricking of the finger was the worst part but was actually quite painless once I got it over with it. Instructions are pretty easy to follow and it comes with foil so you can save your results. I sent one to another family member who was curious about their blood type and it worked out for them too.

It Works!
I realized I was far too old to not know my blood type, so I ordered this kit to avoid visiting a doctor and spending time and money in the process. It's a simple kit with a thorough instruction sheet. They suggest rubbing your hands together to warm them up (so blood can drip out easier once pricked) but I just held my hand under warm water - which did the trick very well. Everything in the kit is somewhat small and the exact number to which you need. You dont get an extra pricker or droppers, etc. If you read the intructions twice and be slow and careful, you should be fine. MY PROBLEM: you know your blood type once the individual four samples coagulate and you can match the permutation to each blood type given in the instructions. Problem for me is that none of the samples coagulated. In the instructions this said I was O-Negative but on the other hand... nothing happened. I did not know if the test was 100% accurate or a complete failure. How was I to know? I doubted everything I did in the kit: did I drop too much water in each circle? Too much blood? Did I touch somethnig wrong? It bothered me too much to trust a cheap kit - after all, nothing happened and there was no assurance if it worked or not. I decided to donate blood with the Red Cross knowing they send donaters a card after they give blood, telling the their blood type. I never donated before and have been meaning to, so it was a great opportunity to kill two birds with one stone. I donated and a month later got my red cross blood donar card in the mail: O-NEGATIVE. It worked after all! MY ADVICE: buy two of these tests and do both of them a day apart. If the results are the same, most likely that is your blood type. PROS -cheap -accurate -easy -quick CONS -assurance it is %100 accurate

The lancet works REALLY well
I will admit that I am not a fan of needles, or really any object that starts out outside of me and at some point goes inside of me, other than through my mouth, of course. Anyway. You get my point. The lanceting part freaked me out a bit, is sort of the gist of what I'm getting at. But I really wanted to know my blood type because I'm sort of a nerd like that. And also safety information and all. Anyway, the instructions were pretty clear in regard to how to prick your finger right, and since finger lanceting isn't an activity that I normally do for fun, I was sort of expecting that, as the instructions implied, I would have to work to get the four drops of blood out of my finger, so I kind of dangled my arm for a few minutes and did the whole thing where you massage your finger and lancet the side close to the pinky finger, and I must have done an awesome job, because I got way more than four drops of blood! In fact, blood actually started dripping down my arm and soiled a perfectly good towel! Luckily, I did have more than enough blood to work with, so I scooped it up with the little plastic things and then went to get a Band-Aid. Since I was dripping blood, I wasn't able to do the whole "smearing around and tilting" thing in the instructions, but it's okay because I got clear results, and I'm happy announce that I am AB+, so I will never feel pressured to stick a needle in my arm and give blood again, since my blood is basically useless, and I have a card to prove it! Huzzah! And all that knowledge cost me was $12, about a pint of blood, and a highly disconcerting bruise on my left ring finger!

Lancets difficult opening
The lancets were very hard to open, and when I did open them, the needle broke. I ended up having to buy new lancets to do the blood test otherwise test results came out good.

Results may be inaccurate, would not use again.
My partner and I purchased this because he needed a blood type for his new dog tags. The kit itself is easy to use. Did not have any issues with the finger poke and prep. My issue was with the results. I do not trust these results. It is hard, in my opinion (and I am a medical professional) to distinguish the results. They all looked similar to me, and we applied the blood to the type card just as instructed. It was so hard to tell that we scratched that and got a real, dependable result from a lab. I did not trust this test. Only giving 2 stars for its easy use.
