Jivi started with a problem. Most of the skin care around us is full of crap: petrochemicals, synthetics, and active ingredients extracted and isolated from their plants. We were constantly turning to the back of supposedly natural products to find ingredients that were clearly produced in a lab, not in nature. Or we'd look online and find companies highlighting the few natural ingredients they use, while hiding or not listing the remaining unnatural ingredients (not a good sign). And the products that were natural were too expensive for us to use daily. So, we started Jivi to create a truly natural and affordable skin care option with ingredients we're happy to show off. All of our products are made by us, in the USA, out of 100% natural ingredients. They are both highly effective and safe enough to eat. Yep, you read that right. Skin is the largest organ of our bodies, and a lot of what we put on it gets absorbed into our bloodstream. So we decided that if we can't eat it, we shouldn't feed it to our skin. That means no chemicals, no parabens, and nothing synthetic. We're rethinking skin care: from how we source our ingredients and formulate our products to how we bottle them (to avoid harsh preservatives) and get them to your doorstep. We are always looking for ways to create options for better health. We recognize that skin care is a luxury, and that there are people around us who are more concerned with what they can put in their bodies than on them. In almost every community across our country, people we interact with on a daily basis, co-workers and classmates, may be forced to make difficult choices: do I eat or pay rent? do I feed my family or get my insulin? As members of those communities, we want to be part of the solution. We partner with food banks across the country so that for every bottle you buy, we donate a meal, where you live, to a person in need. That way you get great skin and get to help improve the lives of people around you.

It's Not Grapefruit Neutrogena Rainbath, But It is Pretty Good
Neutrogena stopped making Grapefruit Rainbath some years back. An 8.5oz. bottle sells for $51, currently, on Amazon. But I really liked that scent. After some research, I found this stuff. And it's Subscribe n' Save. It doesn't smell as rich as the Neutrogena it was meant to replace, but it smells pretty good, if not a little like baking soda mixed with grapefruit(?). It cleans adequately, as well. It's viscosity is adequate, also. It's not watered down.I just finished the first bottle & already have its replacement on hand.As far as its "organic", "gentle" or "sulfate-free" qualities go, I don't know, or care. It could well be made of tortured calf's blood, but if it smelled like grapefruit, at this price, I'd buy more of it.If you want to buy it for its hippie qualities, be my guest. Supporting this product's manufacturer simply helps ensure that they'll remain in business, and that there will be more to obtain when I need more.I'll keep buying until they raise the price or I find something that smells more grapefruit-y at the same price point.Or until Neutrogena wises up and makes more of its Grapefruit Rainbath.

Refreshing and Stress Relieving.
I love the squeaky clean feel. That squeaky clean that Irish spring leaves but absolutely no residue or itchy dry skin. None of that. I thought maybe it was drying at first but I wasn’t when I got out the shower my skin was glowing. Buying in bulk. I dropped a few more drops of lavender essential oil in mine just to add scent. It is nicely scented not overpowering.

Smells like fish - maybe leaked in packaging ?
Don’t get me wrong JIVI is an amazing company. I use their face wash, moisturizer acne treatment and shampoo so I figured I’d buy the body wash. Opened it up and it smelled super weird but figured why not use it maybe it’s the smell of all the natural ingredients. After 2 minutes the bathroom smelled like this disgusting almost fishy scent it was rough. Maybe it leaked in packaging but it appeared in perfect condition when I opened it.

Gross smell, still felt dirty after using, like my lotion was still on after two washes. Never even finished the bottle
