After 10+ years of regular use, one of the push buttons failed, decided to purchase a new set because after reading many of the reviews other products didn't sound so promising. I wanted buttons that could weather the elements like our old set. This one model has proven itself to be reliable so I ordered the same brand and wouldn't you know it, i didn't need to adjust frequencies, as its compatible w our original receiver and transmitter button. Instructions are simple and chime can be changed by jumper position. Another feature not found in other brands is that front door and back doors have different chime so you're able to discern where person is. Has adjustable volume control.

I bought this to have two of the same bells on the house. They changed the way the internals work from the older generation model.It used to have 8 jumpers. Now, it only has one jumper. So, it is incompatible with the older generation of the same model number.Still functional and works perfect. Some minor issues with working 100% of the time due to walls.

I've went through several different makes and models of wireless doorbells and I've always been disappointed. It was easy to install and the volume is through the roof! That was one of my hangups; not being able to adjust the volume. This set has a volume control. I also love how its easy to know which door to answer. The front doorbell sounds a medley whereas the side door is one note. 2 thumbs up!

We've had this set for a few years and it's worked pretty well until today when a visitor had to knock at the door because the bell didn't work. After checking both bells (transmitters), replacing batteries, checking receivers, etc., I can get one receiver to occasionally ring for every 5-10 attempts at pushing the button on the bell (which I am holding a foot away, so distance isn't a problem). The biggest reason I am leaving this review (my first ever) is because I contacted Heath Zenith online service, hoping for some sort of input on a repair. Instead, after a chat explaining the entire problem, I was transferred to another part of their site that, for a refundable $5 fee paid up front, I could fill out a form to be submitted to a contractor in hopes that I might get help there....really? I'm not used to paying for customer service advice.I'm writing this set off and trashing it. Even on the lowest setting the chime was very loud. I tried adjusting the volume to have the setting be a little lower and that was not an option. Also, the range on the remotes are not great. It does NOT go as far as the 125 feet that the manufactor suggested, more like 25 feet! (very dissappointing)The websites says that batteries are included - what they did not mentioned was that the batteries were only included in the remotes and NOT the main unit. The main unit requires 2 "D" batteries so make sure you purchase those as well.

My doorbell is actually right around 100 ft away from the chime, so i needed a bit more range. Glad i got this product...150 ft range and has worked perfectly so far.Setup is easy. The only that might be difficult for some people is to change the type of chime...you have to mix and match different jumper combinations on the main board of the chime and the bells.

We have a small office. The range of this door chime is probably correct if the door is not closed. However, all the remote buttons are place outside, the unit only transmits correctly when it's less than 15 ft. Price is good, product is okay, range needs work however. Make sure to change the communication as soon as possible as many people usually set at default frequency. One more thing, the sticky pad for buttons not working well, we ended up just using double sided tape. In my opinion, the padded sticker is not ideal, may be some some situations, but in most cases, double sided tapes work better.

This wireless doorbell set actually "rings" in cold weather because of the A23 batteries in the push-buttons. After missing deliveries in December and January because my doorbell wasn't working, I figured out that the button batteries just don't work in cold weather. After I removed the push buttons from the outside door trim and allowed them to warm up indoors, they worked just fine; but I decided I didn't want strangers to have to come inside my house just to use my door bell :) -- so I searched local stores (to no avail) and the web for a doorbell with a hardier battery like the A23 in our old doorbell. Ta-dah! This was IT!
