I’ve been using this for about 3 months now. So far it’s been excellent. I love how mechanically simple the design is. My last carafe worked well for about a year or so but had a plastic lid and a button that had to press a heavy spring that was hidden inside and after a little over a year of almost daily use, a plastic arm inside the lid that pushed a spring down to unseal the lid so coffee would come out started flexing too much and finally broke. I was sad because the thermal steel pot part of it was great. So I ordered this one because of it’s simple, all metal and silicone Lid design with no hidden mechanical parts. To far I love it. A little tip: When you first pour a pot of hot coffee in it and push the lid shut, after a few seconds, open it and close it again because the little bit of air in the top of the carafe will heat up and the pressure will pop it open for you because the silicone seal works very well and is pretty air tight. Nothing dangerous but in can surprise you so you just need to let the pressure out. Also when you pour a cup, you do need to manually push the lid down to fully seal it because the silicone lining of the lid is a snug fit which I appreciate. It actually positively “pops” down into the carafe. Those two things some people might not like but I actually like it. I would not hesitate to buy another one of these if I needed a second carafe.

This was a great purchase. I put it to the test today just to see if it could last a full work day. I took a fresh kettle and some tea bags and extras and made a chai around 11PM in the carafe. My tea stayed hot until 5 PM the next day. At 10PM the tea is still luke warm and drinkable for me.BTW I purchased b/c of COVID and my desire to reduce the need to leave my office and social distance. This works because I can place my drink and cups in my office and never worry about contamination etc. I like that it works for cold and hot beverages and is large. I would say cleaning is its 1 downside because the opening isn't wide so you can't get your hands down inside and have to use a tool or a good dish liquid and let it sit to make sure it is getting fully clean if your placing liquids in it that could stain, leave odors or any residue. I don't forsee that being an issue for me as I will likely buy another container for my cold drinks just to keep them separate.I

We have been using this daily now for over a month and absolutely love it, this keeps water cold easily 14+ hours...probably longer we just drink a lot of water so we are always refilling this, will keep water cold over night with no issues. very easy to use opening allows even our young children to pour and refill their cups. Only thing to watch out for is the pin on the opening can start to come out, just use pliers to push it back in, not a big deal just something to watch for.

Main concern is that the lid doesn’t fully open making it slightly an inconvenience when filling and cleaning.

Thermal installation was poor. Returned it. Liquid capacity was pretty good.

Does. It keep liquids Hot. At best - keeps coffee warm. I was hoping for a better thermal carafe.

Works great for a picnic. Kept coffee hot all day. Also used it to keep boiled water for baby formula .

I like this carafe. It keeps my milk cold for at least 4 hours. Its lightweight and easy to clean.
