I had to return this item because it was too big for my clydesdale/morgan cross mare. It was good quality, but I ended up going with a basic rope training halter with two knots across the bridge of the nose. I ended up choosing a training halter like that because I chose to do DUH (Down Under Horsemanship) with my mare, which is what Clinton Anderson recommends.

Too Big!
We have a baby (3 year old) shire who keeps breaking out of his halters, and any replacements we find are all too small... I was pleasantly surprised that this piece was too big for our little guy - we made a new hole for the buckle under the chin, and have no complaints. Even though the description says 1100+ pounds, it'll fit your 1600+ Draft with no problems. :) Edit: He snapped this thing like a thread when we really needed it to stand up to his wiles. Sorry, had to remove a few stars.

Das Halfter ist super stabil und über die Qualität der Nähte oder Metallteilen lässt sich von mir nichts negatives sagen. Da ich das Produkt weiter verarbeiten werde ist die Größe perfekt. Aber Vorsicht , einem „normalen“ 1,80m großen Pferd ist die Größe Draught deutlich zu groß...
