Pleasant light color. Lightweight. But cheaply built...As received, the unit has exposed 120V conductors at the connector intended for daisy-chaining these lights (see photos). While it comes with a small cover for this plug, the instructions received with the unit do not mention installing the cover before applying power to the lights. If you order this light, please do so to avoid a nasty and potentially dangerous shock!For someone who is comfortable working with electricity, installing the cap is not a problem, but this is not a safe product for the average consumer.

I have been growing orchids under fluorescent lights for about 5 years. The electric bills keep going up...so I decided to invest in LED grow lights...hoping my electric bill declines (I don't know yet).The first thing I noticed was the difference of color of the light -- I had gotten accustom to a yellowish hue from the flourescent; now I enjoy a crisper white light. My orchids seem happy.

Great light. Dug up all my plants ( geraniums, dusty miller and begonias)and clipped them back. I brought them in for the winter and set them up on a work bench in the basement and water once a week. I put the light on a timer and the plants are beautiful and flowering Will put them back into the ground this spring. Saves me money from buying all those plants. Sticky tape hanging good for little bugs.

We used it to raise tomatoes indoors getting a jump ahead of when we could do it outdoors. You'll need to find a way to hang this, it comes with two clips for the top to help with that, but those clips will need to suspend from something; it's not heavy. It's a simple on-off switch, so I left it switched on all the time and plugged it into a timer. It comes with a jumper kit because you could actually buy more than one of these and connect them end to end with the wires supplied to cover a larger area with artificial light. It uses LEDs in the light wave range that duplicates bright sunlight for photosynthesis, so it generates light, not heat, in barely gets warm, and so you are not using a lot of electricity.

I bought these lights to hang from a plant shelf to give my aloes the proper lighting, they’re phenomenal. Extremely bright, so much so that a couple of my aloes that hadn’t been accustomed to the amount of light these put out were initially burned, same way they would if placed in direct sunlight suddenly, so that’s my fault. There’s very little heat production from these lights and the timer built into the power cord functions quite well. I have noticed that over the course of a week you’ll usually notice they come on about a minute earlier each week and go off a minute earlier but nevertheless are still operating for the duration of the set time. The only thing I would wish for is longer connection cords from light to light, I had to plug all three that I ordered into separate outlets because the provided cords were just too short to reach from light to light vertically.

I'm very happy with this grow light. It's nice and bright, runs cool, and is very easy to set up. My windows are in almost full shade most of the day, and I'm growing herb seedlings and have other hanging plants that needed more light. They're all doing well.

This is now my third order for more of these lights. They’re lightweight and easy to hang, and all my plants really love them. I use them for houseplants(succulents, Pothos, monsteras, philodendrons) The best part is the color tone, so much better than those stupid pink lights!!

This light is at the very bottom of light needed for growing. It must be placed directly over the plants or it will cause them to "leg." It is good for germinating and small seedlings, but you will need something much brighter if you want to mount it high enough to get a plant to grow properly.

I do not have any sunlight that comes in my house directly so have used these to start my vegetable plants that are doing very well. Easy to set up and adjust height as the plants grow

They are exactly what we needed. They are being used for the sewing room and they illuminate they area to a point of almost have to wear sunglasses.

Quite pleased with this light, it's bright and my plants love it!
