Watch out for faulty youtube videos!
At first I needed pull for throttle instead of push and found a youtube where the guy disassembles and does a wierd reversal. It seems to work for him except the control is backwards. BUT if you read the manual, the manufacturer tells you how to do it correctly and it is MUCH better. Love this control. Great price and works great.

Trim Button Stopped working and fell apart
I had high hopes for the Binnacle Remote Control Throttle when I purchased it three months ago, but unfortunately, my experience with this product has been less than satisfactory from the beginning. While it worked initially, I sensed something was off right from the start. The throttle's overall performance left much to be desired. The controls felt clunky and unresponsive, making it difficult to achieve the precision I needed while operating my equipment. Moreover, the trimmed button, which is a critical feature, was particularly problematic. It seemed poorly calibrated, leading to inconsistent trim adjustments and further compounding the control issues I faced.I must admit that my initial excitement over this purchase quickly turned into disappointment. A remote control throttle is meant to enhance convenience and ease of use, but instead, it felt like a constant struggle to operate smoothly. I'm unsure whether this is a design flaw or a manufacturing defect, but it has certainly hindered my overall experience. With only three months of use, I am hopeful that the warranty can come to my rescue. I plan to reach out to Binnacle's customer support and inquire about the possibility of a replacement or repair under warranty. It's essential for companies to stand behind their products, especially when they fail to meet customers' expectations. While I appreciate the aesthetics and the concept behind the Binnacle Remote Control Throttle, the execution has left much to be desired. If I manage to get a satisfactory resolution through the warranty process, I might consider giving it another chance. However, for now, I'm hesitant to recommend this product, given the issues I've encountered. If you're considering purchasing this throttle, I would advise you to proceed with caution and be prepared to seek warranty assistance if needed.

No botes tú dinero
No botes tú dinero, la peor compra de partes de un bote , llegó dañado y con problemas funciónales, no acelera cuando pones marcha atrás además de tener partido el interruptor de subir y bajar el motor ,

Great value; add small amount of loctite to order
Looks good on the boat and feels smooth. Very good price for what you get at least so far. Only thing is they should include some medium loctite for the lever Phillip heads screws. They back off even w/ the lock rings attached from vibration. Over tightening will strip them.

Faulty Trim Switch
The second time using the controls, the trim switch got stuck while driving the boat for about 45 minutes and we could not hear it over the wind and motor noise. By the time we got back to the dock, the trim motor no longer worked and motor was stuck in the down position. We barely got it out of the ramp and then had to have 3 of us manually pick up the motor to lock the trim. I noticed it a few times getting stuck on in the down position. I should have known better to just buy OEM from now on.
