May or may not work.
People in our town were raving about these, so we got them. The flies preferred my bbq to the bait, and these traps caught under a dozen flies all summer between the two. However, they did catch several little tree frogs, anole, skink and wasps. Great idea, so we will try again next season with different bait. It does not come with bait but has a deep tray.

Works good at trapping flies
Great product, except I recieved 1 of them missing a piece so it was unusable. The 1 that did work, worked amazing at catching flies. Just have to account for potential winds that might spill the fly attractant in the bowl, I tie it off in multiple spots as a solution

Works, Cheeply Made
Works OK. Lots of flys, bugs, bees, nagts caught.BUT...the wind blows and knocks out the fly attractant. The bowl under it needs a small lip added to stop the wind and sun draining it.I had to refill often. And keep out of the sun it sucks up the water making the bowl dry.Its also Very CHEEPLY made.

Better than expected!
My poor tree out front is infected and it is dripping sap. This is causing flies and bees to swarm our tree. My husband purchased these traps about a week ago and the results are great! We didn’t know what to put in them at first, but after reading the reviews online we decided to try a sweet trap (lemonade) and a rotten trap (tuna). They both did equally well. I think the sweet one attracted more bees as you can maybe see in the pictures attached.Overall we are impressed with the traps. The traps are very large, I’m not sure if there is a smaller version, but you can definitely see these from our street.

did not come with ANY paper work
This came just 2 in a box, no paperwork how to set up or what to use for bait,They work ok, but the packageing was poor. May be just this shipper.

Caught 6 flies between two traps.
I had high hopes and low expectations given some of the other reviews. This was easy to set up and hang it outside but it didn’t work at all. We ended up with 6 regular household flies in one and nothing in the second one except one moth and they have been up for more than two weeks. We have tried several types of bait and nothing mattered. We recently bought a cabin in the national forest of east Texas and we have had a bad summer so far with horse flies so I was hoping these would work. The best thing so far has been a fly swatter and those nasty hanging glue fly traps. Save your money and try something else.

It’s OK
This seemed very simple but it did work. However, not like many reviews where thousands of flies are captured. We no longer use this as removing the bowl over time takes a toll on the products. Also depending on the bait you use, which is usually nasty and smelly and not something you want to spill, or get on you, when removing to bowl it’s hard not to spill or get on you. Also, the chickens were not interested in the dead flies removed from the trap.
