I bough this for my students. The cards were very useful and helped them learning

My daughter is in 5th grade and struggles with reading comprehension. Doing these at night has helped her get better at listening for important details in stories and understanding what the importance of them are.

This activity is so functional! There's a variety of text structures, vocabulary and even an extended question for the passage on each card. Great to use for purposeful small group teaching, especially for students who need help with reading skills.

I originally purchased the book version of these but the pages were too thin to photo copy so I purchased these at more than twice the cost. They're heavy duty, laminated, color coded and sturdy. Perfect for centers in my classroom!

Its disappointing when you open what you were excited about, and its only half full. Where did other half go? Why would you make the box this thick than? Size is what I expected but not the portion. I open the wrap so I guess I will try. Texts are bit shorter than I expected too. Its for my 5th grader and texts seems so easy and simple for her. I am going to try two or three cards tonight with her and see if its even her level. (Box says its for 4-6grades)Its just little disappointing.
